Definitely one of the most beautiful medieval Japanese soldier figures. And there are multiple. But they always look so great, thanks to 500+ year old designs.

And these always make me think of those heroes who stitch together the plates or sew those chains. If I had ridiculous amounts of money I would buy these and visit their manufactury.

I don't know enough about this place and time to comment on historical accuracy, but the set is absolutely gorgeous in every way. I second Ovy. I don't collect these systematically, but I already have an Ashigaru musketeer, and he's great too.
