He looks decent enough. I have watched some YouTube vid's and his hat is not removable. Other than that, most collectors give Freddy the thumbs up. I am not sure sure what is difference is from the original Sideshow Collectibles Freddy (from the original movie) and Freddy from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors ?
The EX comes with a extra body feature (long sold out) ..i picked up the Reg version Smile

Thanks for the heads-up. Unfortunately, nothing I wanted had the discount applied to it, but I hope it helps others. :p

Ignoring current 'official' Star Wars content for my own sanity.

I spotted other figures i would not say no to. Fact is, even with 13% off, many of the figures can be obtained elsewhere for lower prices compared Sideshow Collectibles hiked up prices. Every now and then a deal can be had Smile

Yea I usually get most of my stuff from my local sideshow retailer because I live in Canada. Most of the SS free shipping or reduced shipping is to the US only which is usually a large chunk of the cost for me (not to mention custom charges). I usually just get figs directly if it's an exclusive or I have a lot of reward points banked.

It's a shame the hat can't be removed. I've seen a lot of manufacturers struggle with 1/6 cowboy type hats so they probably just decided to make it one piece in this instance.

Import Tax is a scam. I Get hit nearly every time with 20% - 30% fee's based on the value of the item. I say 20% - 30% as it is always more than 20% as they charge additional handing/processing fee. Sometimes i get lucky and the item slips through customs Wink

yea the handling fees is what gets you. They can be from 10-30 bucks plus tax depending on carrier.

If i purchase goods from the US and the value is less than $150, then there is no import fee, only a handling charge.
If i purchased a DVD via ebay from the US and the DVD had a value of $6, the handling/inspection fee, assuming the parcel is stopped (not all parcels are spotted/inspected) can cost $15 ..which is so annoying.
