I like it too, somehow it manages to have more character and realism than some of their other heads.

Cheers Mark , I've been making a few alterations to Jake's office, but the girls sneaked in for a quick shot before I could show the updates . More updates to follow tomorrow .

So, I finally decided to upgrade Jake's photocopied books cases in the study to a more physical version. I found some really cool small units in a stationary store of all places which work really well as book cases. The next problem was filling them!
After lots of searching the internet for an idea I had for a note book, I found loads of journal pages, from films and games. Using comiclife I created a system for creating pages in a book.



I cut out the pages.




Then folded them into their pages,



Then glued the back of the pages,



Then glued them into a cover,





Anyone wanting to make their own, just print these pages off at A4. They are perfectly sized.




I really didn't want to make all the books for the book cases with readable pages, so I went looking for covers,





Again, just print these off at A4, they are already perfectly sized. I cut down blank paper to the inner size of the book covers. Note, to give them a bit more stability, using cereal box type cardboard, I made inner covers and spines. Once they are together, they look like this,




Then they look great on a unit,



I probably made close, or over 300 books to fill Jake's book cases. Here they are refitted in the study

A few more shots of the kitchen diorama. I recently added a blind to the kitchen window Here are a few shots of Jayden relaxing on her day off from missions.

Relaxing? Isn't she looking at a map (presumably of her next mission!)? The blind is a nice touch to an already very complete kitchen.

That redone study is awesome. So impressive. And thanks for adding the details on how you did it, and all the covers and pages for everyone to print off (have to ask, since I'm clueless more often than not on how to shrink things -- what does A4 mean?)

That kitchen diorama is also outstanding. Beautiful work (and of course, your lady looks nice too).

Yes, you are correct Ian, or maybe a holiday? . I was really pleased with the blind, I made it from some wallpaper I had.

No worries Mark, always happy to help. A4 is usually the standard size for printers, so you just have to print them off, no resizing required . Really pleased you liked both diorama pics. They are great fun to do.

Yeah! once you get into a routine of making them its actually a quick process . Really pleased you like them

A while ago I stripped my Lola head with the intention of re-rooting it. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get the hang of re-rooting. I should imagine t was because the plastic the head was made from was very hard. Anyway, I deciding to contact a friend I know, Jacalls from flickr,

She is an extremely talented lady at re-rooting and she manage to rescue my Lola head for me. She re-rooting her in blonde with shades of pink in highlights. I'm extremely pleased with how she turned out.

That’s really excellent work she did on the reroot. The pink is so subtle it wasn’t until the 3rd image that I noticed it.

She did a very nice, professional job.

Thanks guys! yeah, I agree, she really is extremely talented at what she does. The pink highlights worked perfectly . More pics of Lola to follow on soon

Ha! Nicely done. I’m assuming you are holding her one leg “off camera”, and it looks like Camera 6 was hard at work on that 4th image. (Note: Camera 6 is a joke my wife and I say when watching a sporting event where there are cheerleaders, or other shows, where the shot suddenly has a gratuitous boob, butt, or crotch shot for no other reason than to show off these parts of a hot chick).

Yeah, although, I can balance them pretty well, sometimes they need help . It was a fun shoot to do. The flash is more of a movement thing, trying to capture the motion of movement, I guess it did come out a bit more anime? I do like your terminology Mark! .
