He looks unrecognizable, since I haven't really seen him in anything recent. Age. It happens to all of us.

Well, it beats the alternative. Something's odd about the age choice here, as it is said to be the "Authentic and detailed likeness of Jackie Chan in his style in mid 2000s," but overall it's labelled "60 Glorious Years of Jackie Chan," which would make it year 2014 counting from his birth in 1954. Probably, it's supposed to represent him around age 50 (year 2004), and the 60 year Anniversary is just the occasion when they decided to make the figure (and I guess it took them 9 years to get it made?)

Kind of an odd representational choice also as it seems pretty limited to being Jackie Chan the actor, and not so much any of his characters or roles. The smile looks good but it is further limiting. Would actually look pretty good as a compare/contrast to the much younger Jackie Chan figures that Dragon made ("Dragon Lord" and "My Story") which were more primitive but good for their time. I just picked up the "My Story" recently (cheap) so it would be fun to have this one. It's always cool to be able to represent the same person 30 years apart.

Completely agree with the limiting aspect of the sculpt, but this is a feel good figure, which I appreciate. Much like the smiling head of the Comedian (Joker) when combined with his bouquet of flowers. Smile
