Beautiful continuation of the sequences. The poses are so natural and, like Dave said, those pouring oil photos, wow! Well, your Mediterrans need more surfboards -- one imagines it is one of their favorite modes of transportation.
Thank you for that very flattering image of me, by the way. If I looked like Arnie, it is my sunglasses I would never take off, not my helmet.

You are a great visual storyteller! Such an inspiring photoshoot. The dedication to making it seem like they are really making the surfboard is 'most impressive'. : )

Ignoring current 'official' Star Wars content for my own sanity.

Meanwhile, California is ready to give the board a traditional signature look.
First, she mixes a shell full of Octopia Black Ink.
It's made of coal pigments, resin and the Ink from a Sepiida's ink sac.
The shadows inspire her to add an outline to the front, back and sides.
She wants to achieve a fishlike aestethic.
The sunrays and lightfall on the other hand inspire her for the next step.
She mixes a halfshell full of Calciumcabonara's Titanica Blanca, which has a large amount of ground shells in it. In this particular mix are also parts of Aristoteles III's shell, which was one of California'S favourite super sea urchins.
The white dots are a homage to pearls and the a sea urchin's Spike gimbal.
The lightfall was 'just about right', so California painted two parallel racing stripes directly on the underside.
Correcting some minor errors, the board was put on the ground, but the paintjob was mostly finished.

Very beautifully done, which is of course nothing new in itself when it comes to your creations. Your ability to make your characters perform such highly functional tasks is most impressive, as is your beautiful photography of them doing so. The board looks excellent, and I love the cool design, which is just the right amount of detailed and simple. The music reminded me of those cheesy surf movies of a bygone era, or their parodies like Psycho Beach Party. Is the next step showing them surfing?

Oh I love this! The photography itself is fantastic (I especially love that shot looking down on Jordi holding the piece of wood near the beginning - the framing is wonderful) but it’s the banter between them that really gets me, especially with how clearly both their personalities come across.
‘Hm. I usually just shape the boards. But that was a great monologue."

Your 'making of' photo series continues to be absolutely incredible. The lighting and poses are all so realistic. And the angles you shot at made it feel even more so. I truly envy people's ability to pose these figures so well. It's something I still find really difficult and off-putting. But I enjoy seeing your amazing results!
And the surfboard itself looks fantastic. Beautiful design. Can't wait to see more!

Wow! California sure is a talented artist! Her paint job worked out superbly well. Lovely positioning of California throughout the shoot, and I loved how Jordi slept through the whole process! Brilliant story telling Ovy. I really enjoyed that.
aw man that just rocks !! I've been waiting to see how this story plays out and I was not disappointed ! Love the surfboard and Jordi is one cool fella !! We need more stories !!
Ha, awesome detailed work and I really love the lighting and photography angles. So many wonderful shots. It was a calming experience, watching her painting the board and I took a ice cold drink end leaning backwards in my office chair (Also great description of the inks/ingredients of the paints lol)
