Wow! I was going to use the body for another character and sell the rest, but now it looks like she will be joining my rank of fighters as is! I doubt I'll want to take her apart... Not if she ends up looking like THAT!

Quick first-impressions review of just the body here (post number 7):

GubernatorFan wrote:Thank you, brassco, for the amply-illustrated review, and congratulations on getting her. People have been looking forward to this for so long, and now they can see what they are going to be getting. Definitely looks like a proper silicone body to me, although the seams are not a must -- I'll be posting a new LDDoll review shortly.
Silicon figures have seams, where tpe does not, as far as i know of. i've not heard of a seamless silicon doll.
I'm sorry to hear she cannot stand unsupported even in her boots. That said, the sculpt on the body, with the added nuance of muscles and even colored vein detail, goes beyond most bodies, silicone or otherwise. The heavy musculature on the legs has always been a little too much for me personally, although I realize it is appropriate for the character and of course possible for female bodybuilders. It looks to me like they were successful in rendering it here. Would you be able to put the fighting outfit on top of the swim suit? That would save you half the hassle when changing her outfits, in principle.
the swimsuit material is not exactly super thin...the main costume itself is so tight, i doubt i can put it on over the bikini.
It is my impression that in theory silicone bodies ought to be better able to take heat and humidity variation and stretching than TPE ones. The trade off is that the silicone bodies are oilier, so more difficult to handle -- I achieve some success with the application of silicon finishing powder, but that gets absorbed or wears off much quicker than on the TPE bodies, requiring repeated application sooner. The other big issue (shared with TPE bodies of that type), is the inability to stand on its own in most instances, if the ankle is seamless.
silicon bodies should be less oily...especially with those medical grades type. will be bending her elbow for a longer period (most of my other tpe type seamless bodies figures' elbow already badly torn due to prolonged bent posture)
PS: Added NSFW to your spoiler (thanks for using one) and removed a couple of the most zoomed in and explicit images.
Take a look at the new LDDoll review HERE. I think the new bodies (or new batches?) have effectively overcome the problem, at least in overall appearance.brassco wrote:Silicon figures have seams, where tpe does not, as far as i know of. i've not heard of a seamless silicon doll.
On June 2nd I was able to order one from aliexpress for 249 CAD and it arrived on Friday. Sadly the prices went way up the next day. The cheapest you can find one on ali now is 360 CAD! So I was very happy I ordered it when I did.Ghost808 wrote:Does anyone know where this is still available to buy? Google isn't helping me out. I badly NEED that body for a barbarian bash.
