Thanks guys! really pleased you enjoyed the pic. It was a really quick set up, not much involved, expect my lamp which you cannot see off camera, and a reflective case base/stand you can get from a supermarket.



I do enjoy doing these type of natural pictures, seeing what they get up too, when no ones looking .As for Stan, he'll protect anyone for a treat .

Stan is totally earnest. Nice behind the scenes shot. Sometimes the best setups are pretty basic, although in your case the elaborate room and nature dioramas really pay off.

Yes, Stan is the true star of the show . I do agree, a quick pic can sometimes wok out really well. However, as you say, larger dios, with slightly more to look at, do making great pics.

As always, a compliment on how beautifully you always pose the figures. She didn't just sit down like anyone would sit down, but she sat down very ladylike. Now Zona should put her book aside because Stan wants attention.

Thank so much Ephiane , I like to try and position the characters naturally, it makes for much more interesting pics . Yeah, I'm sure Stan will get plenty of attention, he's just too irresistible

Gorgeous photography. I know it wasn't the focus, but even the sophisticated interior behind her is perfect. With so much to distract, I suppose she didn't feel the need to hide the gun under the pillow, eh?

@ Vis, maybe she's waiting for Han to come and retrieve said pistol? As for her boots, well, she is a bad girl, so probably doesn't worry her .

Excellent work. Although you can barely see anything, it looks moody and realistic, like a still from an epic. Also, a great figure.

Thanks guys! yeah, I was trying more for the moody effect of stepping from the shadows, rather than highlighting the detail of this beautifully sculpted figure. Vis, he has interchangeable arms, one armored set and his bare arms. He is a standard Hot Toys figure . Really pleased you guys enjoyed the pic.

Just seamless arms you can swap with armored arms. I don't recall about this one, but the most recent one (based on Thor: Love and Thunder) has both the interchangeable naked and armored arms as seamless -- though the armored ones are stiffer and harder to bend.

From what I see I really like your female figures who seem all very strong and badass

And I like the effect you achieve in your last picture of Thor, with the muscles and hammer into the light.

Thank you Paulette, I'm currently phasing out the larger bust figures in favour of the S22/23b TBLeague figs. I'd say, I probably have a 50/50 split, with a few themed figs thrown in too (Marvel, Star Wars, etc). I really do enjoy the photography side of the hobby, as well as making stories, scene sets, and kitbashing outfits, for the characters I create . Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my thread .

The first Hot toys figure I put together. He was assembled in parts over time. I guess this is the figure that first put me on the path of 1/6 figures (Well, that and my mate MIskatonicNick!)

Great figure! It's showing its age a little bit in terms of style and execution, but still very cool and very fresh. I think it will still work very well in your vibrant settings. Maybe he should join the team?

Thanks Ian! Yeah, he is showing his age a little now , but in fairness, look how far the figures have come in likenesses nowadays? Some of them are truly breath taking! Old Logan will always hold a special place for me, being my first proper male 1/6 figure .
