Just once I’d like to see these companies do a woman who looks like she’s at least in her late 20s or 30s. All these teenagers is getting old.

The heads look very nice, actually, although I take Mark's point. I, too, would like to see more mature female heads. Conversely, I'd like to see more youthful and child heads and bodies for both sexes -- although they are not as important for most of my purposes as adults, they can be a valuable part of any family home or street scene, etc. And I mean realistic, not anime, and normal, not sexualized. As it is, we are pretty much limited to the figures produced for Harry Potter and Stranger Things.

Pretty cool, though nothing I'm really interested in as I already have a Zoe head ordered.

"Teen" heads are i8Toys whole aesthetic. And that's even before they rebranded as i8Toys and were producing figures under "Original Effect." So this is like 10+ years of them producing these kinds of figures. It'll be out of place and strange for them to deviate from that now.

I like the red & white boots.

I appreciate the pale eyes, and that they are experimenting with different eye shapes. I like this, but I, too, don't care for more teenage girls, so easy pass. Not that it would be easy to get this Wonder Festival special.

I find the faces very weird.
It looks like a face rejuvenated automatically by computer. Which makes it "inhuman". There was a free application on the phone and it gave this kind of result.
It has a childish and adult side at the same time
The eyes are weird, the iris and the pupil are unreal.

If you want to make children, the only figurine I know that will do is Doomsday Sisters Chika White TBLeague.
I bought one to make a mother and her daughter, but the little girl's kimono is too short, we see her panties. It's a little weird.
So I made her sit on her mother to hide that.

I had previously planned to make characters from a film, where it's a boy and a girl of 12 years old, but I gave up because I would have struggled with the bodies and also with the clothes.

I think in many ways the second 'Yuki' one is their nicest head so far. But yes, I know it's their 'theme' but these are beginning to look very 'samey' now.

I'd also like to start seeing a greater variety of ages (and sexes) available, not least because I've got a village crowd scene to fill out Smile

Even though the source material of both holds little personal interest, I was looking at the JoJo Rabbit and Stranger Things figures recently to kitbash, purely for the fact they were rare representations of young/teenage boys.

The new Yuki head is interesting. It looks like she's sulking in most of her photos. I don't really like the sculpt.

The Miu head sculpt looks a lot like the Zero head sculpt from the Nun Set. It could just be a repaint. I may try to get one of these on the aftermarket. There's a lot of value here: the blue eyes, the long brown hair, and the potential zero sculpt. Hopefully it isn't like $100 on Taobao's secondary market.

You're giving me ideas for another reference thread. I do have all (?) the Stranger Things kids, just to have some, and some smaller ones as well.

The Miu head is the Ming dynasty sculpt (i8-c006)

Good eye! It looks like the same sculpt.

From what I understand, these will ship at the end of November. I may try to grab one on Taobao.
