These Snail Shell toys are really cute! This one, the Assassin, is very interesting. She's originally depicted as some kind of robot or mechanical being, but it also comes with an alternate human head with movable eyes. This makes me wonder if she's like the Terminator, a full on android that's just a machine in the shape of a human, or a cyborg and she's just a lady who got upgraded machine parts. There doesn't seem to be a background story for her, so I guess we can just make it all up. She sort of reminds me of Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell because she seems to fit a futuristic sci-fi setting.
The robot head is very nice, especially the segmented neck area that you can really bend all around. She also originally comes with a butt that has a wiggling robot tail, which you can replace with a butt without it. She also comes with some kind of sword and a grappling hook launcher.
Posability is great and she can do all sorts of splits and bends easily. You can even take her apart safely and mix and match her parts with other Snail Shell ladies.
