The body's been on a Dremell diet, done lots of hole punching and laces, removed the useless magnet system for the belt. I've been trying out different robe ideas and started concentrating on his weapons, went upstairs to my Sigma Six collection to go through any spare parts to use and ended up disappearing into that mayhem for most of a day!



























Sigma Six staff fits the weapons perfectly but needs to be shortened a tad!



I'm also thinking of giving him a chain and weighted tip weapon like the Shaolin Monks and Ghost Rider use.

Thanks guys! Yeah, very simple build this one just need to do some paint and tailoring now, already made the staff weapon.

Just spraying these primer black now then will brush silver. That's a cheap stainless steel chain btw.

Thanks Peter! Looking forward to seeing the head sculpts in person! This is a very lazy build by my normal standards You should check out some of my others, I tend to go a bit mental on detail and working mechanics etc.. more often than not using scrap/junk and Lego!

Not dream as such but problem solving of this nature helps me get to sleep and drive away unwanted thoughts brought on by chronic depression so good for the build and good for me!

Thanks guys! Just about to start some tailoring for his robe as the hood is from something else etc..

The stitched seam on the hood was so tight it took a couple of hours to coax that wire through it, typically the wire in the robe that is far longer only took a minute! Didn't get as far as I'd like tonight but at least the clothing is ready for sewing together now (I removed all the snaps and elastic as well) and the weapons, head and hands are ready for silver.

absolutely stunning! The amount of work, the level of detail and the attention paid to each of them is insane!!! Such dedication is very inspiring, humble bow...

Just found this awesome '1/6 tree' or more commonly known as a dead bush  outside my house and immediately made me think of that classic scene in LOTR TFOTR where the Black Rider (man these guys have so many names for being nameless!) is 'sniffing' out the Ring whilst the Hobbits hide under the roots of a gnarly old tree. Should make an excellent dio piece!

Naps are important, I'm no use to anyone if I haven't had any.

That tree bush looks perfect. That WILL make for an excellent dio.

After more sewing than expected the Reaper Wraith is now done, took some pics of him in a pose I liked (one of those poses you never seem to be able to replicate again!) on my little work desk, no fancy photobooth stuff yet.

Still not 100% sure what I'm doing with the tree, I'll spray it with some acrylic clear to protect it then either use the bottom part of it with the previously shown dio as the vines with TH Wraith and the top half with the LOTR Wraith or use it as one piece to recreate the Hobbits hiding from the LOTR Wraith.....options... Or build a Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow!

Thank you very much TGF! I love your LOTR work, it's always so well finished!! I still need to practice leather-craft skills! I've got a custom Arwyn to do later but I'll be cheating using Asmus armour the biggest pain is her sword, I was hoping to get hold of a 1/6 WW double horse head hilted sword but they only seem to be making the double dragon God Killer versions.

It's great you keep yourself occupied. I'm resorting to gaming to keep me going till I move. I was a diehard PS2 owner for several years!

I'm terrible at video games! Always have been, just mash buttons and get frustrated .
I'll be taking proper pics of the Reaper Wraith later.

Started work on the Ronin Wraith as I'm calling him, yes I know Ronin warriors were essentially masterless mercenaries but it just sounds better than Samurai Wraith even though the Wraith most certainly have a master!   Undid all the complex knots to remove the armour from the original custom figure (these are full metal and real cord armour, not that plastic armour with moulded cord they are putting out on many figures), removed all the red felt then the ink with sandpaper. Touched it up with silver, I'll bathe it in black ink then go over it drybrushing mail silver and see how it looks as I don't want paint build up on the cords. I need to make is black hakama from a pair of 1/4 scale trousers and his haori too. The kabuto will be using the Noland Predator one as a base adding fukigaeshi and kuwagata shaped like the vertical eye of Sauron with a demonic menpo. I'm thinking he'll have a pair of tashi and a naginata or yari as weapons. I'll be adding detail to the do (breastplate) as well.

This should be another amazing build. Your off to a good start.
