2018 Poppies results are live!

Wow! I'm shocked Mythos Obi-Wan won the 12" category for Male figure. But, I have to say, he is a really cool figure -- and hands down the best thing Sideshow has done, in regards to "humans", probably EVER, in my opinion. It looks enough like a younger Alec Guinness to surpass HT's "old" Obi-Wan -- which was, as usual, entirely too idealized to be accurate. Still, a shocker, considering how much hate usually falls on Sideshow (deservedly so, most of the time).

On my side I'm surprised how the mezco hype actually carries on this year, their figures are indeed cool, but nothing revolutionary, the quality is very average on some of them, and the price keeps on inflating, nearly 90$ for a 1/12th scale figure, I give them a couple of years before they reach 1/6 prices lol

Thanks for running and processing all this, and in three-different venues as well. It was very interesting to see how they lined up together (or not). There has certainly been plenty of exquisite work last year.
