As soon as I painted the eyes blue instead of green and thickened the eyebrows, it was pretty obvious (to me, anyway). The darker hair (unfortunately ruined by the highlights I had to add for the Star Trek Kirk look) and the altered hairline (less forehead in the upper corners, longer and pointier sideburns) helped too.
