ABOUT THIS SIXTH SCALE FIGURE
“Wanna bet your life you can survive my claws?”

SNIKT! Sideshow presents the Wolverine Sixth Scale Figure, a new Marvel collectible based on Logan’s classic X-Men costume.

The Wolverine Sixth Scale Figure features a comic-inspired head sculpt of everyone’s favorite feral mutant, with a stern expression beneath his yellow and black finned cowl. Wolverine’s costume includes a yellow fabric bodysuit with black stripes, a set of blue fabric briefs, and a red fabric belt with an ‘X’ buckle. His classic costume also has sculpted elements like distressed blue shoulder armor as well as blue and black gauntlets and two-part boots.

The Wolverine Sixth Scale Figure features a number of swap-out elements allowing you to perfect his powerful pose in your Marvel collection. Logan comes with a pair of fists and a pair of action hands, which can both be fitted with the swappable hand plate with his Adamantium claws and the hand plate without claws. For further configurations, the Wolverine Sixth Scale Figure includes three sets of muscular, swappable arms- a pair of articulated arms, a pair of non-articulated bent arms, and a pair of non-articulated straight arms. Unleash this iconic Marvel hero’s full fury with this variety of vicious accessories and display options.

The Exclusive Edition of the Wolverine Sixth Scale Figure includes a pair of swap-out gloved fists featuring Logan’s classic bone claws. Return to Wolverine’s origins with this exclusive additional display option.

This was always my favorite Wolverine costume from the comics, but 12” is WAY too tall for comic book Wolvie. The casting of Hugh Jackman in the films has skewed people’s impression of what this character is supposed to look like — he’s short. REALLY short. Jackman is 6’3”, comic book Wolverine is 5’3”... that’s pretty short for the average man.

Interesting offering, definitely a throwback to the comic book character. The obvious articulation does make it seem like a blown-up version of a classic action figure, which is perhaps fitting; then again, before we got spoiled by Phicen/TBLeague and Jiaou, obvious articulation was the rule. The swappable non-articulated seamless arms remind me of their customizable Jabba statue and the like.

Mmm, nah,

The only Logan I want is Logan from Logan, head and gear from OneSixthKit.

Somehow I don't think that the height issue is necessarily because of Hugh Jackman skewing people's perceptions, but more likely that they just didn't really bother with scaling him 'accurately'. If there aren't a ton of other similar X-Men characters in this line-up, then perhaps they didn't think it mattered too much.

Joe Madureira Claws! Yes! I don't know why, but the first thing I thought was 'Berserker Barrage'. I hope they make Gambit and Jubilee, my three favs from the 92' tv show

Glad they continued with the alternate arms design. I was expecting to see some action stances or crouching pose to show the lower body's articulation, but maybe SS didn't want the ugly knee-joint to show through the suit.
I hope they make this version in brown+mustard spandex.

Joe Madureira Claws? Was he the first to draw the claws that way?

I am not an X-Men 'X-pert' [har, har], but I don't know why people are dimissing this one. I think it looks neat for what it is. Somehow I'd missed the swappable arms thing before, and that is a strange but interesting solution. I suppose that means the body is entirely made of plastic? I reallllly wish more jointed bodies were completely plastic these days, instead of plastic and rubber combo.
