Guys from the yard...the return

Good day, all.

Weird times...

The upside is my yard hasn't looked so good in years. Of course, I have help...not much...but help nonetheless. The guys kind of do what they want. They do stumble onto something kind of cool from time to time. Let's take a look in and see what they've found.






















How 'bout that?

Very cool. Man, it took me a while to find him/her/it. I’ve seen one or two of those in our yard over the last couple of years — occasionally I see one jump when I’m mowing the lawn (and like a decent human being, I stop the riding lawn mower to move as many of the little critters as I can to a safe place — not that I haven’t accidentally killed a few frogs/toads — but I try not to). Great find, and nice photos.

I should start seeing these critters in my garden, once we get over the current frosty spell.

I originally thought you had hidden a guy in a ghillie suit or something, wasn't expecting that little fella in there, what lovely pattern it has.
