Admins, I hope this is okay to post here. If not, please remove.
If you guys have not heard, 1/6 customizer Alex Filippov experienced a fire in his workshop and all his equipment was destroyed. A lot of his projects were also destroyed but some pieces were saved such as clothing that was at his tailors location. He was in the middle of a project making a beautiful John Coffey figure from the Green Mile.
This is what he does for a living. Many of you may have purchased figures from Alex in the past. He is committed to completing all his projects and continuing his work. You can see more photos of the destruction caused by the fire on his facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/lexluter91 There are heart breaking photos of burned and melted heads and bodies that he had put a lot of work into.
Losing my collection to a fire is one of my worst nightmares. I can't imagine what Alex must feel right now. He is a very talented artist and this was his life's work. Alex lives in Russia and his shop was not insured. A friend and customer named Samuel Bodart has set up a paypal donation page where you can help Alex at https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8oji0qD6VD
If you can, please show him that the 1/6th community cares about one of it's own.
