SOE Sniper Maneuvers

Hi folks,

I took a figure along for a walk the other day, wound up doing more photo taking than walking, but was totally fine with that.

Here's an SOE Sniper making his way through a wooded area on an intercept with an enemy convoy.

Really nice figure and great outdoor shots! The illusion of scale with the foliage and forest debris is perfect.

That looks awesome, PM. That first shot with just that one snippet of the tree really makes you think he’s standing next to an in scale tree. And the last couple are really cool.

These photos are absolutely gorgeous. Perfect scenery, and the composition is brilliant -- you always manage the scale issues with such skill. And the figure himself is incredibly well done. And those last two shots... wow, I would have thought that was a real person. Awesome work!

More photo taking than walking? Well, these little guys really do slow you down. I agree, looks excellent, and you managed to avoid it looking out of scale.

Well-done: British wind-proof smock and pants; British style map case; gear looks good as does the #4 rifle.

This is soo much better than seeing your garden fence, haha. Beautifully scaled and shot and moody and apocalyptically desaturated. And very accurate if Photogs approves it, haha. Your little assistant is still in training?

That Nam shot might be one of the best bare chested Kalashnikov river striding outdoor shot I have seen this day. Is that a statue or a heavily modified seamless body? 2021 will be great.

Great job with that fording photo, like others noted -- the mood and the realism work beautifully.

Ovy, That's actually an old Hot Toys body, they used it with Rambo and Drake from Aliens (which is where mine is sourced from)

My little guy is definitely still in training, not quite ready to hang around and help get little men set up for me to take pictures of, just yet.

If you could dig out more of those water pictures, I'm always in awe for these sets, I remember some LRRP patrol shots from the old OSW forum that were astonishing (suely my best memory of outdoor shots)

Ah yes. These are the ones I remember. So cool. They all look so good in the real world environment. Nice posing on all of them. So nice to see these again.

Yes, great shots the whole lot of them. Not as moody as that solitary one, but actually more realistic -- as if they are from video footage or a movie.
