Nicely done. I enjoy the silliness of giving them a "project". One of the dumbest ones I had in Boot Camp was a disheveled/haphazard pile of bricks under the canopy/awning of the barracks that had about 1000 bricks in it. Me & 3 other guys on KP Duty had to stack those bricks in a specific order (according to the (censored) Lieutenant); once we finished, a different Lt. came out of the office and yelled at us to throw the bricks back into the pile where we had originally found them. WTF?! When we did that, the first Lt. came back out and screamed like a banshee in heat for us to re-stack the bricks the way he had told us. One of the guys wanted to use one of the bricks to cave his head in, but we didn't say $@#t and just went about our way re-stacking those damn bricks. By that time we had worked through lunch and put in a hard 10 hours day. I think the only thing that prevented the second Lt. from coming back out and making us throw the bricks back into a random pile was the barracks nurse (a Lt. Colonel, and a real nice lady about 60 years old) dismissed us. I loved that woman more than any woman ever at that point.
