Not a strong likeness — at all. But, without a Bubba and Lt. Dan, not something I’m interested in.

Hmm, at least it means more Vietnam gear. From the looks of it, they use the gear that came with the Hot Toys platoon figures, at least in part. Why the hell they mounted the ARVN Ruck onto the Frame of the Lightweight rucksack is beyond me, but this is still going to to the people (like me) that kitbash NAM figures. I am going to wait for the figure to be parted out.

Nice set. The likeness is a bit off, but then again it is supposed to be a youngish Gump... it actually looked to me like the lovechild of Tom Hanks and Sam Worthington! But I like it.

Last picture looks like they've lost private ryan again this time in vietnam for the gear i guess its a good source but personally i fail to see any tom hanks in the sculpt, heck if i scroll to fast sleep deprived as i am right now i could even see a hint of steven segal, prior to putting on tons of weight

The head would make for a good original side character in someone's 1/6 verse, methinks. :'D

Nice to see a NAM figure on the market , I am not tempted by the complete figure but might be tempted by some of the parts . The Helmet looks a little small , but may look better on other sculpts . Shame they printed insignia on the jacket , it will limit it`s use for kit bashers .

Definitely great for parts, however they missed the mark on accuracy.

Helmet cover is...weird. Mounting the ruck on the aluminum frame is a bit...different. However those frames can come in handy. He did have one in the film but a different ruck.



That said, it's the closest to the mark we've gotten for this character so far.
