I like the set except for the grimacing head but the usual complaint regarding the hair!

what is a French seal holding hand?

At some angles I see He ray, but overall something is missing — and I think the cheek bones are too wide for him. The hair is a serious letdown, but since this is their first figure, it’s understandable I guess that they’d go the easier route. I’m sure if the Guv were to get this, he’d work his magic on it. I kind of wish, if they thought the pulled back look was too hard to achieve with rootedm that they ad least make the loose bits real (half and half the way Asmus does it) would have at least tipped me closer to a PO. As it is, meh... pass.

It looks very neat, although I'm not really familiar with the source. Cool set overall. And yes, I would probably look into re-hairing this if I got my hands on one. The grimace head is not too bad, although I prefer the more neutral one.

I don't know the source either, but I like the headsculpts. I don't mind the hair (of course, the final product may not be as good) but the "armour" irritates me.

I understand the designers of the original character didn't want him weighed down with metal plate, but these thin leather pieces would be of no use in battle and so they could dispense with all the arm and shoulder pieces that just make him look cluttered and keep the jerkin as a fashion statement.

I'm on the fence on this as I'm always wary of first time manufacturers/ how close or how far they come to the prototype. I'm going to wait a bit and see if any other companies will make one.

This is from the Netflix incarnation of Witcher, which is also the same character from the popular game, but the first season primarily based on the original short stories vs the later books that the game derives from.

Oh I love this! I think he looks fantastic! Despite the sculpted hair....The grimacing head looks great, too!! Especially with the hood.

But I'm not overly invested in the franchise (yet?) so I can pass. Maybe I'll regret it once I've seen season 2. Smile

Yeah, the hair bothers me too but otherwise I think it’s a pretty nice figure. I really like the snarling head, in the right context I could see it working really well in another fantasy bash - I could definitely see Ephiane making good use of it as a partially transformed werewolf or something!

I guess it was only a matter of time til someone put out the tv show version of him. Agree that the sculpted hair is not great, but the headsculpt itself could be a lot worse. The snarling one would indeed make a good beastly fantasy character.

I like him quiet a bit, even though the HS is not perfect. But the price seems alright for a figure with two heads even.

I wathed the show but never played the games, so i like the Cavill Witcher more than the in game one anyway. The outfit can also work for other fantasy Warriors. Like a AD&D Thief/WArrior hybrid or sth like that Razz

Some say this is cancelled others say its fake news. Lets wait and see

Yeah, I’ve seen those comments, but until word comes from a reliable source, like Kit Chen, I wouldn’t worry about it.

same here, heard that neogeek? sent out an email from a fb post, but manufacturers close to the company say it's still being produced, just delayed. I'd wait for official word from whichever retailer you placed the order with before doing anything/and or contact them directly. In any case, most reputable retailers will refund you if a piece has been cancelled.

So was all (censored) because of that Neogeek site spreading wrong information. At least we are getting news that it will release in April and we'll get in hand pics soon.

Seeing the positiv things in all of this.

I knew that guy was full of $#@t. Nice to see Meiling Jin (aka Amelia from Giantoy) confirm that the rumors are BS.

Some pictures in the snow diorama that I spent many hours making for this character - not including several accessories or snarling head as I’d packed them away and didn’t have to hand. With some encouragement (anxious wrenching…) the body stretches into more poses than I first thought, though the ankles are a bit of a pain being loose and one leg seems longer than the other. Still, he will stand/hold an pose and I really like how he turned out.

Hmm. Thought I posted a comment, but it must not have registered.

Anyway, really cool looking diorama, impressive attention to detail. He looks great in it.
