For more retro SciFi you could dress James Bond-Fleming as ZARDOS.

I actually have a Webley Revolver in 1/6, which is a as close to the Webley-Fosbery that Connery carries in that film, as anyone will ever make in this scale.

Very cool retro 50s style B-movie Sci-Fi hottie. That Robbie The Robot-style helmet is perfect. I definitely agree the boots need to be replaced, but everything else fits together nicely.

Very cool, I really like all those retro "spacemen" the style is just phenomenal. The retro bubble helmets are always a great touch.

Nice shot. The boots look appropriate for the character, but I wonder if just painting more of them white would help them blend more with the rest of the outfit…?

Great figure ! Fantastic combination from the sets to a believeable Retro Space Lady. I love the effects like the laser beam. Hope You give us a Babarella like story with some ugly aliens.

I too suggest the possibly of making your retro space girl's boots white for consistency, but the choice is yours.

Couldn't resist any longer. Had to track one down. I wasn't expecting to win the eBay auction, and had actually forgotten about placing the bid. Then a "payment reminder" showed up in my email inbox. So here she is, CyGirls "Aurora" High-Altitude and Orbital Flight Ops action figure:


As pictured, the figure is all stock. There is some flaking of the uniform fabric, but no holes... yet.

Black and white was a nice choice for the photos.

Very easily accomplished as long as you have a tripod.

Cave wall is simply crumpled brown paper. Lights are small multi-LED rectangular flashlights from a dollar store...cost $3.99 ea, I think One low to camera left with a magenta gel. the other hand held to the right and high with a blue gel filter.

Camera set on tripod at 1/4 second at f8.0 at 400 ISO. Used shutter release cable, bracketed the exposure to get the best one.
