Looks good. Take the guards off his wrists and put them on his shins where they belong.

Woooooow, that dio is incredible and makes him look spectacular!!! Great posing and angles and lighting, too, of course. That last pic... Water has turned into rocks and snow. Laughing

When they were first found the archaeologist thought that they were wrist guards. It has since been demonstrated that they are shin greaves. The find is Vendel rather than Viking but a decent argument can be made that Vikings probably used them too.

Fantastic to see the pictures of these arriving and historical pointers for kit placement shazzdan. That ship is fantastic and great moody lighting shots Valiarde. I hope they re-issue the ship one day but don’t know the chances of that happening....

And oh, that is not the coomodel ship but a custom piece by onesixthartmodels. He still offers it on his website https://www.onesixartmodels.com/product/drakar/
(but for a bit higher price than I got it for two years ago - fb group members got a discount back then) The shipping cost might be steep outside europe though.

Thanks for the link, Simon.
Tanzenwolfe, if you were thinking this is the CooModel ship (I couldn't tell from the comment, but it crossed my mind), as Simon said, it is not. But they are very similar in concept. The CooModel one is reviewed here:

Thanks very much for the links and suggestions; I will check this out - I had indeed assumed it was the Coomodel so great to know there are other options. My powers of observation are evidently not that fantastic……!

Fabulous double act Annalise! I recognise that body….just got my Viking woman tonight so excited to get her into action for some photos soon Very Happy

Valiarde

Ah wow Ian, you own the coomodel ship with a great review to boot! The Coo ship has the advantage of having more space for figures while the OSAM one is just a front place for max 2 figures.

Both are cool options

@Annaliese: Nice pic and cool seeing more people getting having some (fantasy) vikings on here
