I'm not sure we really need another Achilles from the film version of Troy. It is interesting that companies do not use their imaginations (and historical artifacts, such as they are) to produce an Achilles that is different from the one on the screen. This armour is so stylized it is ludicrous.

Having said that, I do like the leather items and the headsculpt with braided hair is not bad.

The movie obviously went for Brad's mobility at the expense of the Homeric description of the armour. I am not sure Hector would have wanted to wear this!

Like JohnByng said, I'm not excited for a third Achilles from Troy (Pangaea and more recently someone else that I forget made him), but both versions of the set look great. HH and HY quality is generally excellent, which helps. The "real hair" head sculpt looks great, even if the likeness is not 100%. The fantasy armor is, well, fantasy armor, but it is beautifully recreated, no doubt about that. As with their Roman figures, but even more so here, there is no real substitute for a seamless body (and again with that mystery new body).

Aside from the Brad Pitt appeal, I never got the obsession with this absolutely horrid movie. The least they could have done is follow not only the epic poem, but the actual outcome/fate of the characters. This movie pissed me off for all of its extensive liberties, and sucked like a bad rectal itch.

Amen, Mark, I agree completely. Some of the performances were good, but the script and design's liberties were most unfortunate. The problem is that they value (dubious) creativity above the ability to actually make the epic come to life. There are plenty of ways for a film to fail (perhaps not financially, I don't know), and this was one of them.

I like the way they did the rooted hair on him. Though I do think the likeness isn't great. Would maybe make a nice Viking if one were to add a beard on him. ;D

As for the movie itself, yeah I've always been pretty meh about it. I hated the costumes and most of the storyline decisions. But then, these are the same dudes who f*cked up the A Song of Ice and Fire adaptation in the form of 'Game oF Thrones'.
