it was only recently that I was thinking I would love to have some Ancient Greek warriors in my collection but with a bit of Hollywood flare maybe, rather than ACI ones etc. I love this. Might use the ACI helmet too, but judging from their Rome line, I reckon we will see regular infantry and maybe archers etc too

The only thing that might pass for Greek is the shield but it depends on how the back looks. This figure would best suit a Conan-type setting.

While I think this will be great quality like their Roman releases, it is very much Greek on fantasy steroids. But it does look striking. Interesting effort with the "real" hair, too.

Yes if the hairline is done well, this will be a nice head...

While the figure might be a fantasy greek soldier, it looks ver cool

Ye gods! a male figure with hair ! I actually like this one if im doing fantasy i might get him some shoes

Why the melted sword? What advantage does that give I mean I know a cavalry sword evolved to have a curve to aid with slashing but that seems wrong to me

That weird sword shape is actually pretty accurate for one type of swords used by the Greeks at the time. It is often referred to as makhaira or kopis. It does seem to be associated with cavalry, so for the same reason.

They were mainly used by Macedonian cavalry.

Thanks for that folks I had heard of a Kopis but didn't realise that was one

Modern hoplologists tend to use the term "kopis" to denote knife-length versions and "falcata" to denote sword-length versions.

HS and armor are from Assassin Creed Odyssey. The HS is the male character face
