Holy cow it took me a while to scroll to the bottom of this...

I like the look of the figure and especially the head sculpt, but... I hate this look.
It's like they are trying to make it extra plausible. And he looks like he is wearing a corset. With push-up effect.

Head sculpt is ok. The costume is crappy but that is the movie's fault, not the makers of this figure.

Agreed. I wasn't a fan of the look of the Nolinverse Batman, or the Snyderverse version, but this is just awful. And that "flying squirrel" suit, while something that exists today, just looks dumb AF. I don't go to see comicbook movies and expect to see uber-realism. I guess this is why, for overall aesthetics, Tim Burton's Batman (especially from his 2nd movie) can't be beat -- aside from the overall black color scheme, it had a very Neal Adams-esque look about it. (Not a fan of the "emo" hairstyle either -- too boy-band, and not enough millionaire classy). The least they could have done, especially for the asking price, was given him an additional unmasked head sculpt that didn't have the black around the eyes.

Agreed, the unmasked head sculpt is a nice touch (but should be a given), but the hairstyle choice and the painted area around the eyes are unfortunate -- the former as a choice of the film design, the latter as a choice of HT as to what look to portray. I still haven't gotten used to RP as Batman, which does not help in my case. I'm less bothered by the suit (and the masked head works), but then again I'm not very steeped in all things Batman. The "flying squirrel" suit does look silly.

I'm having areal hard time getting behind this. I agree with all the previous comments. I always have to ask my self, "Will I do a story using this figure?" So far the answer is "No". I do like the car but will use it for another character for sure. I'm thinking Nightwing.

im no massive batman fan either, but i do like pattinson as an actor. I'm not sure i think the unmasked looks all that much like him? im seeing as much bucky barnes or whatever his name is as pattinson. All that said i reckon the set will look fantastic in hand. but for the price it should!

The emo look is a bit weird, but it’s supposed to be a younger version of the one we’ve always been shown. Billionaire with daddy issues. I’m off to watch the movie today actually, so opinion may change or be strengthened lol. All my friends who’ve seen it have praised it, saying it’s how Batman should have always been done.

I’m expecting to see Catwoman, Riddler and Penguin too…..the latter already has a spin off TV series in the works.

I suppose the cars and the toys got more and more ridiculous over time, so maybe a more realistic reset is worth exploring. I shall remain open and am looking forward to seeing the movie eventually.

Thanks. I really loved it. The first half was slow, a lot of character build, and story building, but it really picked up. Great interactions and storyline. Very gritty, lot of low voices, some beautiful cinematography. Personally I do think it’s the best Batman so far. Storywise. The Dark Knight second for me, mainly due to Ledger’s Joker. Definitely worth the watch.

I'm surprised I'm in the minority here who actually loves the suit. It's going to be a long wait till he's on the shelf though.

I don't hate the costume at all (it is the casting and styling of the unmasked head that doesn't appeal to me), but I gather that die-hard Batman fans and experts with more knowledge and attachment than me can have some very different understanding and reactions to reinterpretations of Batman canon -- as with any other franchise. I still remember the profound outrage felt by some when one of the directors gave his Batsuit nipples (which is actually a perfectly legitimate choice for muscle armor, by classical standards).

I watched this movie yesterday. Overall not too bad, some things annoyed the crap out of me, but overall not bad. Battinson wasn’t bad (pretty one-dimensional character portrayel), but at least he spent 90% of the movie under the cowl. Didn’t really like the look of The Riddler, u til the actor was finally revealed (much more believable after that), but at least it was a solid performance. Decent enough “mystery”, but the film dragged a bit. Still no interest in the figure, though.

Impressive looking figure. I watched the movie about 1 month ago and liked it.
