The picture was taken in front of a backdrop that was included with another arrival: a statue of Emilia (from the anime Re:zero). The backdrop is actually quite nice, although it's printed on shiny paper.

Just received the battle angel "Alita" by Playtoys, and it's a very nice one, movable eyes, magnetic hair cap, detailed cyborg body, she is just as good in hand as she is on the promo pics!

Also received the homelander from Soosoo, the body and outfit are much better than what competitors released previously, sadly the likeness is not here at all, it's a big miss on each headsculpt (there are 4, all wrong lol)

Finally, I received Doc & Marty from the third Back to the Future movie, ordered in sept 2021 through kghobby, that was my last rodeo with them because of the shady service and communication, quite a relief lol

Decided to buy my first thematic fullset (well, i like this anime series) and there was a great price (even without sales) Haruko Akagi from Slam Dunk

While firstly i considers with price of 130usd it can good basic set as well, due to her shorterness it will be problematic to find clothes, and may be use her clothes on standart figures (and i still dont know which phicen body they used, she even smaller than S45, and anounce topic here from 2020 also dont make it clear)

Phicen / TBLeague's S24-25 and S26-27 bodies are slightly more petite than S44-45, so perhaps one of those (especially S26-27)?

Well, thats anime-manga series from 90x, when anime had so-so realistic design with its flavor (and painted-writed by hand). By the way i`m waiting on days to get head from japanesse classical horror movie, manga series from that same age (Kawakami Tomie by Junji Ito), horror version (A) - YMTOYS YMT090.

I can see the quasi-realistic quality they have in common. I've been looking into Japanese traditional prints (ukiyo-e) depicting scenes from history or fiction (or often their depictions in Kabuki plays), and I think I can see a connection between those and some types of manga.

I don't know if such a post already exists here, if so, delete this one.

Personally, I bought a TBLeague Horus Silver version, at a fair price on the Machinegun website (France)... I'm taking advantage of these few days of promotion to find figures already released and which are in stock at more affordable prices.

I got some crows. Geralt and Lagertha have assisted in their escape from the box.

Quite a cool set, all different poses and made of soft-ish rubber. I think the size seems pretty decent for 1:6? Nearly didn’t get them as the shipping and tax from US was crippling, but it all added up to the same as getting a few 3d printed birds from etsy, and at least these will be safe if (when) they take a tumble. A downside of living on a small island at the bottom of the earth, shipping has really gone up recently

Finally obtained this grail for a what-you-see-is-what-you-get deal... It's a cool below SGD$100 cost inclusive of transportation to seller's place and back.

Cleaned the dust out, removed the corroded batteries, soldered my own AAA battery boxes to it....
Hehehe..... early xmas gift to myself. And the owner didn't even know it has electronics.

This weekend i attended something known as The Darkside Darkfest 2023 held at the Genesis Cinema, London.
During the weekend they screen various movies. There is a Bar, traders selling DVD's, Blu-ray's, Books, Magazines, Toys etc.
Also present were a number of celebrity guests who have links to movies. The list included:

With the theme being horror themed (obviously) most of the stuff on sale was horror related.

Each celebrity had their own table, and where quite happy to chat with fans, sign posters etc, and offered various photo's which they were happy to sign.
I decided to pick two photo's have them signed.

The Jamaican-born British actress and model perhaps best known for her roles in two James Bond films, From Russia with Love (1963) and Thunderball (1965).
I had a chat with Martine, she was super nice, and i decided to get this photo, as i figured it would look good displayed with by Big Chief Studios - 007 James Bond figure.
