Don't tell me this is not modern.
Where would I draw the line? Going backwards, probably before 1900 or even 1850. Going forwards, probably 1500. Everything in-between is Early Modern. Although in historical terms (not specifically military), I suppose everything this side of the late 1700s is modern.
