This set looks really nice, and a welcome one. Early war. Looks like they mashed up Gump in Nam alongside We Were Soldiers. Only thing I would say, is at that point in the war, more likely for them to have worn the black all leather boots than jungle boots, but I won't quibble. Nice to get another PRC-25 and M69 vest and the OG-107s look really nice.

As an aside, I interviewed Joe Galloway on my podcast about 15yrs ago. He was a really great guy.

Some nice kit their , I like the look of the uniform , I can see Gump in there too . Seems to be big gaps in between newly released NAM figures .

He looks like the love child of Tom Hanks and Elon Musk.

The early uni is great but you right about the boots and that rifle should be an earlier version as well. The M16 which had the forked flash hider and did not have the forward assist. If I remember right, this would be the M16A or M16A1 since it has the forward assist and birdcage flash hider.

Yup, good spot. It should be the earlier version of the M16. Yeah, these boots look nice, especially with the "socks" but they would not be right. Easy to remedy though. It has, as Chip said, a lot of nice parts which seem neglected in the 1/6 world.

The ammo pouches have plastic taps, that is a bit anachronistic for 1965, the all plastic closure tabs were only introduced with the M1967 All Nylon Web Gear, before that, they used web taps and metal fittings to close the pouches. Other than that, it looks like a nice set

Another good spot. I hadn't looked really close but yes those appear to be m67 clips. I owned a full set of 56 and 67 pattern when I ran my nam reenactment group so should have seen d'oh.lol

Very nice, loaded set, although I'm no expert when it comes to the accuracy. And the head is definitely going for Tom Hanks, and not bad.
