Travels with Lagertha

On a rare trip from NZ to the UK to visit family, and I decided to risk bringing Lagertha. She’s becoming a well-travelled Viking, currently enjoying North Wales.

I was going to say, she seems to be scoping out the country for conquest. And that castle behind her does not feel safe in her presence.

Thanks all - yes even though we left her sword at home (didn’t want the security ‘issues’ at the airport even though you could do more damage with a pencil) she is scoping out some domination like the old days I think!
A bit more exploring from the west, before she returns to reinstigate the Danelaw on the east coast….

Not much of a photo finale to add, as the spring weather was consistently rubbish for almost all of the rest of my UK trip - rain, more rain and a bit of hail. Wales certainly proved a beautiful unexpected highlight.

Back east in England, we did manage one in-between-showers shot of my childhood favourite old Tudor/medieval street - Lagertha seems to scare everyone off!

Nice scenery. Really like that second pic the most.

These are excellent (I seem to have missed the first Welsh batch). A viking on an English street is bound to have this effect (or get mobbed, or get thrown in a pit of snakes), so I don't think Lagertha should take it personally. The scenes in nature or with a manor house in the background work even better. Beautiful.

ETA: I missed the bit about the Covid. I hope you feel better soon. Drink plenty of liquids, get plenty of fresh air, and some Liposomal Glutathione would not hurt.

"How realistic they make these figures now if they can get infections", I thought at first, assuming you were talking about Lagertha, and tin tube was a case you were carrying her in...
