As for latest purchases: TBLeague S44 and S45 on the way.
I'm looking forward to comparing them to the S26/27.

I have no experience with the later bodies.   Everything I have is either S10D/S12D, S16A/S17B, or S22A/S22B.  I do have one S07C that was recommended for the Super Duck Nico Robin set, and I only took a few minutes to appreciate why the older bodies with seamless feet are despised.

In my fantasy world, I would build up a stock of every body released and replace them as I use them so that I always had the best match.

I think she was still on a S10D when I took those pics. I have her on a S23B now which helps a bit with the thighs:



It is available in blue, but they are very hard to find. I found this one by accident at U.S. online retailer a few weeks ago that rarely sells third party 1/6. That’s probably the only reason it was still there.

Okay, this actually is a purchase since it’s just the complete Cat Toys CT-013 set (Blue Version) on a S12D body. This is the head that comes with the set, but I bought everything piecemeal from Toy Anxiety.

Now I have my Tekken Tag Tournament team of Asuka and Koharu Kazama. Funny how lanky Asuka looks and how stocky Koharu look standing next to each other even though they share the same body and clothing. I guess that’s due to Koharu’s head bring a lot bigger than Asuka’s, and the colors may play into it a bit as well.

I think they came out great, different but similar, just like they should be. The colors may come into play, but I also wonder if the "blue" head does not sit a little higher on the neck than the "red."

I got the Dremel out and worked on Asuka’s head.  I also raised Koharu’s a bit.  Does this look any better?  I don’t think I can get Asuka’s head to sit much lower than this.  I just don’t have the room to work with that I did with the Super Duck head.

I didn't think it was bad before, but yes, I do think it might look even better. Well done.

Recently I purchased on Ebay the dress of Sinful Suzi, a TBLeague figure in reference to a comic book. While the original figure has blue hair and  horns like a female devil, I customized a more human version ;-)

The Hot Toys IG-11 from The Mandalorian showed up today & shot him with Han Stryker. This thing is pretty cool (probably not as posable as the Fear II figures from doodlehobby, but still pretty impressive nonetheless.

Ha! Always with the fun extra names. I do plan to make a Western mini-me at some point, hopefully soon, as I've always told my wife that is the time period I "should have" been born in. Not so sure about the DeLorean (even though I did PO BTTF 1 & III Doc & Marty). The car would be cool, but WAY too far out of my comfort zone, especially with so many other vehicles (the Batpod & another motorcycle) & horses on PO already in addition to needing to get some Western tack made once the horses actually arrive. Not to mention the at least 40 other box set POs (YIKES!!!).

My Deluxe Arwen just arrived from Asmus today (I honestly thought it had been lost since the dumb-ass FedEx driver dropped it off at my neighbor's house -- unbeknownst to me, and when I actually saw the driver still in town and stopped, I asked him about it; I had received a text notifying me it was "delivered" even though I was sitting in my living room at the time and didn't see it. He "claimed" there wasn't anything in the system, even though I showed him the proof on my phone. 3 Hours later my neighbor brought it over (it had been sitting outside in the rain for the last 3 hours).

So my Holy Grail arrived today. I don’t remember the last time I was this excited to receive a figure. I also can’t say enough good things about From Japan’s proxy service.  The Yahoo! Japan auction ended Saturday morning, and the figure was in my hands Thursday morning,  just incredible.  Unfortunately, I can’t pose or take pictures worth a damn, but here she is.  Phicen Robyn Hood:

Then there’s the downside of your Holy Grail being a six year old Phicen figure.  See the little pouch sitting on the right strap of her top just below the quiver strap?  She had one on her left shoulder strap as well that just fell off untouched.  You can see that the pleather gave way before the glue did.  Also, the back of her belt is already faking too from where the straps of the pouches on her thigh are attached.

The pleather on this outfit probably isn’t long for this world.  Fortunately, I’ve got the essentials that make her “her”: The head, bow, quiver, arrows, pouches, wrist guards, boots…all I’ll really need to do is replace her top and pants either with better quality “leather” or just plain camouflage.

Well, restoring her might be a fun project. Poor thing, just looking at that eye makes me feel bad for her.

If you knew how she lost it, you would feel even worse for her. She would fit right in with The Boys.

Maybe it's a good time to try out some Angelus leather paint? I heard that can do some decent pleather restoration. It does suck that pleather is prone to flaking.

I’ve never heard of Angelus leather paint before. I’ll have to look into it. Fortunately, the pouch was an easy fix.

Thanks for the tip about Angelus leather paint. I have several figures with flaking pleather that need fixing.

I’m starting to think of poor Robyn Hood as the “Unholly Grail”.  

Now the little pouch on the right side fell off and created more flaking on her top, so I just took the damn thing off and put the black halter top from the VS Toys Tifa on her.

I can’t say I’m shocked by any of this.  I’ve seen a few older Phicen figures with flaking pleather on eBay, but I thought since Robyn here had never been opened, I might be okay for awhile.  I couldn’t have imagined that I wouldn’t even make it past the first day!  Thank God I paid less than half of what I was willing to pay for her.  

Joker: I swear to god, if this won't drive me crazy, nothing will...!

A bunch of stuff came in over the past 2 days:

Finally received my Exo-6 First Contact Picard & Data
I purchased 2 each of the WWI Trench Dioramas (from DiD)
2 sets of the new World Box male hands
2 each of the TBL S45A (that I completely forgot I had POd a long time ago, and wish I hadn't)
a Pop Toys Business Suit (I'm guessing for Batfleck Bruce Wayne)
and finally Mr. Z's "Brown" Akhal-teke & the "Brown" Thoroughbred (though it appears to be closer to reddish brown). I was hoping to be able to use both of these for the same horse, but the colors are distinctly different, and my paint skills wouldn't be able to match them. (I have one more horse on PO, hoping that at least one of these horses will match in color to that one).

That is quite the loot, Mark. The horses look pretty sweet. I bet you and Lady Stryker will be riding them in no time... in sixth scale. What in particular was the attraction of the new World Box hands, I forget?
