SO . . . should OSF have a "MATURE" section?

Hand-sewing wouldn't be much easier, but it is doable. I did a bikini by hand using spandex material (pain in the butt to be sure), but at least it wasn't eaten by a machine.

I should make a 1:6 mini-me (impostor) and build 1:6 talk show stage like Jerry Springer and shoot a photo story of a controversial 1:6 discussion and the studio audience chiming in can be members of whatever 1:6 discussion group represented by the usual responses and some can be "inspired" by known/obvious members.

I was kidding about the cup of course but not about working with stretch. Spandex and lycra are a challenge in 1/6 on a machine. I need a magnifier, pins, and attached leads to stretch. Lots of failures and throwaways. Agree with hand-sewing being a bit more controlled. Still difficult. It sounds like we need an ongoing fabric/sewing tips thread on here. My Janome recently died and am shopping around.

I would like a mature section but if it would offend others then I do not wish that. However, I think the reason for not having it could easily be applied to other subjects. SS Figures (I don't mean Sideshow!) or Joseph Stalin, Donald Trump, Chairman Mao etc. etc. all offend me, except when tastefully executed of course!

Hi guys, just thought I'd chip in for the girls, I only visited the section on the other sight and that was only due to the odd link (very odd sometimes , and I'm not talking chain links DFC!)


From my point of view I don't think we need it the section I mean! at least not at this time I did find some of the images a tad disturbing at the other place tho'.


That having been said and I'm not a prude but ,and i think i said this in the relevant thread, I found some of the TBl images of the new smaller figures a bit disturbing as they kind of border on S/M with youngsters ok it was only suggestive and perhaps I was looking at them the wrong way ahm! the pictures DFC the pictures!


I just think that some times a little caution is needed as you don't actually know the ages of anyone here only what they have told you and for all I know Johnny or Jenny could be looking over their mom or dad's or even older siblings shoulders while the browse the board.


Just my 10 cents/pennies  I said Pennies not panties DFC!

Though lately I've been using the term knickers at times instead of panties.  I guess the British euphemism bit me too.

I have no problem with a mature section. I also have no problem with the mods deleting any posts that they find distasteful. There is no such thing as free speech on the internet. If the admins of a site want to exclude any one or any thing for any reason, they have the right to do so. If we don't like it, we have the right to go and find another sand pit to play in.

I’m kind of in two minds about this one. I don’t have any issue with a mature section in theory, but I think if one were to exist on here, more stringent rules should be in place to specify exactly what is considered acceptable. I’m not one for kinkshaming, but I do remember there being at least one post on the other site of a seamless figure peeing and to be perfect honest, if that’s your thing, fine, you do you, but, come on now, there’s a time and a place for that sort of thing and I don’t really think it’s somewhere like this!

I think tasteful nudes/pinup stuff is fine for this place - as others have said, this is supposed to be an inclusive and welcoming forum and while I have no real objections to anything more hardcore in principle (to a point anyway) I don’t think this is really the home for it, especially after all the fallout on OSW.

In going through some old posts and responding to this one, a member has inadvertently brought back to life a discussion we already had with fairly consistent "no" results. Perhaps this thread should have been locked (you tell me), although in principle it seems only fair that newer members or members who had not posted their opinions should be able to do so. Then again, we keep forgetting that Forumotion, our free forum host has fairly explicit (if slightly vague) rules against anything of pornographic nature.

I am new! That is my excuse and I am unanimous in that!

Sorry for reopening this topic. I did not realize that Forumotion would not allow it anyway. Maybe a good idea to lock this as any discussion is moot?

You have earned my eternal devotion for quoting Mrs Slocombe! And it is not your fault, on several counts.

As i joind the One Six Hobby, many Years ago. There exist nearly no Fantasy Stuff. The WW 2 / Marvel Friends allow me to show my creations in their forum and they was very gentle. So, who am i to tell some Friends here i don´t want a mature section ? Please do one....

apparently the rules wont allow it, but sure would have been nice, until people went hog wild and posted everything.

In view of this topic being moot given Forumotion regulations, I am locking it so that no one gets their hopes up in vain.
