Phicen M30 or M33

He is supposed to be buff, right? M30 is buff but a little short. M34 and M35 are more buff and taller. M33 is probably just a little too lean for that look. Of the these, M30 comes closest to anime style (a little more abstract).

Consult the TBLeague seamless bodies catalog:
https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t3013-tbleague-phicen-seamless-bodies-with-steel-skeleton-catalog-updated-continually

In terms of skin tone, although there are no guarantees with differences between screen settings and light exposure, your Vegeta's skin looks quite pale. I'm not quite sure any TBLeague body would match. Jiaou's bodies come in three (in once case four) skin tones (YS, BS, and PS), and it is possible one of them would work better; their buffest one is the 12D body. You can see them, alongside with some TBLeague for comparison, in the following thread -- scroll down to part 2 to see all of Jiaou body models and skintones:
https://onesixthfigures.forumotion.com/t3830-jiaou-doll-male-bodies-10a-11c-12d-and-tbleague-m30-m33-m35-comparison

I hope this helps.

Given that Vegeta is rather small compared to Goku, i would say m30 is probably the best fit.

But like Gubernator said, dont know if the color checks out with the bright skin color of the head.

That head looking rather big, I hope it does look good on a standard 1/6 body i the end.

BJDBUS on Amazon sells a Barbie sweater dress that fits TBLeague S49. It's a cowl neck, so you can do a wide turtleneck look or off-the-shoulder. I've cinched the waist with a binder clip in the back to show off her curves, but it looks fine without any modification.

Thank you for the recommendation, I need more sweaters! And nice work with this figure, the couch, and the printing press!

There is a source for hundreds, maybe thousands of sweaters and I have shown where.

Example from a burned past :

It's sad this one burned. But nice that you were able to salvage as much as you did.

The figure (head and body) didn't survive but at least the fireplace, the sweater and probably the socks did. Everything else is still MIA.
The sweater (from Sindy) is now under treatment as it is very dirty.
So, if you want sweaters galore, check any fashion doll catalogue.

DarthJ

The sweater, but it's not exactly the same one, this one is rather rough. Production was spread over a number of factories hence fabrication quality and used materials varied.

Someone asked me specifically about clothing the basketball-player-type M36 bodies, which we have always expected to be trouble. And it is. Finding things that will both fit and look suitably long is going to be a challenge, although if you have specifically basketball-related items (including the tank top and shorts), perhaps that would not be much of an issue. But here are a couple of casual options.

I know I'm always asking about heads. But I really like some. In this case. What head is the one on the M33 body?

I'll try some bjds jeans on my M36 to see how well they fit in the legs. Might be another choice in clothes. My Minifee shirts (40cm give or take) fit the 17 JIAOU.  Although long. But it's nice to pretend it's a ancient tunic.

Looks like the young Han Solo?

Yes, as Dal said, it is a "Young Han Solo." Or, as I prefer to think of it, that Han Solo impostor, Alden Ehrenreich. Smile
The head is from one of the two Hot Toys Solo: A Star Wars Story sets, either Han Solo or Han Solo (Mudtrooper). Because of the use of the same head by the two sets, these might still be findable.

Am a little late at finding this tread but thank you Founding Father for all the posts which are absolutely incredible and full of detail, its very educational and inspiring. Like many, I am always on the hunt for clothes that will fit, look good and not cost heaps. I have bought a few mistakes but pouring over all your posts, I now have a good knowledge of what to look for. I very much appreciate the work you put into your posts to help others like me.

Thank you very much for the kind words, Paul, and I'm glad this is helpful. I've been a little burnt out and preoccupied with family matters, but I hope to contribute more in this thread down the line. Some of it might be stuff I've showcased elsewhere but haven't discussed in terms of clothing, since a lot of characters, once dressed up, haven't been changed yet.

Part XXXI: Dollsviewpoint Clothing

Very pleased with the first items I picked up from Etsy creator and seller Dollsviewpoint, I picked up a few more, and finally got around to shooting some photos, as I really need to post the reviews.

The first items I got were straight out of the catalog, a couple of shorts (using the TBLeague M36 body size option), which worked perfectly on other TBLeague bodies like the Iconiq Muhammad Ali body and the standard M33 body:

For more photos of these, see HERE.

The second time around, I got more items, starting with a striking Kente print outfit (non-stretchy), which zips up at the back and has an elastic belt:

Clothing TBLeague / Phicen Seamless Bodies updated: Part XXXI, November 2024 - Page 12 Cl0210

I also got a Stretchy Maxi dress, which comes with an accessory that could work as either a headwrap or a belt -- I used it as the latter:

Both could work for a variety of TBLeague bodies, tall and short alike, like the Hatshepsut/Radiant Crown Divinity body and the petite S25B in my examples.

Let me know which ones of the following should I use for my reviews -- I can only use one per item.

F

I also bought a fine set made up of a robe or dressing gown (with belt) and matching shorts. As usual, the shorts are stretchy at the waist. Since the print was almost floral, I couldn't resist putting it on a body with a Tom Selleck head.

N

Coming full circle, I got a customized set of red shorts, with the string option (the custom part was getting it in black). This was to go with something I had already gotten, a head of David Hasselhoff's. It was actually meant to be for Michael Knight, but but it was easier to put together Mitch from Baywatch for starters. The Ken Baywatch set was useful for its white t-shirt and red jacket, but its red shorts could not be closed over the TBLeague figure's waist. Of course, for review purposes, I'd be limited to just the red shorts... As noted before, the shorts are stretchy at the waist, which is very helpful for putting them on seamless figures in particular.

All in all, I can only praise Dollsviewpoint's quality and service and hope it will continue to make its creations available, and hopefully new ones too.

As always, what do you think?

I checked the Dollsviewpoint shop. For Europeans, don't bother. They don't send to Belgium and I guess by extension, the whole EU.
And even if they do send to your country take into account shipping costs and customs fees.

Some nice acquisitions, Ian. As far as what to use for your review, I personally like either of the flower garden shots with the wicker furniture.

NICE! Shuri's outfit is gorgeous with those accessories. For review pics, I vote B and/or F! And I vote that J, N, O, and S all would be great in a review. I usually go ahead and show how I combined items in my review pics.

I recently got some items from Dollsviewpoint (but not for a TBLeague body, so I'll spoiler-tag the pics), and I have high praise for her too. She made a small alteration for me, no charge. Very nice to communicate with.

That is unfortunate. That said, reaching out to the owner, Jackie, might well yield a more promising result, as I found her to be most kind and helpful. Given the minimal weight of the items, it is likely that the shipping costs and fees are not going to be particularly substantial, at least by comparison to other things.

Thank you very much, Mark. A store worth keeping an eye on, and a thoroughly positive experience. I'm glad you liked those photos, as they are definitely on top of my list. I might combine them with the more museum-like reference photos in my image processing program.

Thank you, Klio, I'm glad you liked them. And your recommendations make very good sense. I do show them combined here, but I figured I have to keep it to her actual clothing items when I post reviews on Etsy. Glad you are a satisfied customer, too, and one of the significant niches she fills are clothes for larger bodies like the World Box one you have. I might be looking into that soon enough, as I have two (one of them permanently used for "Fat Thor").

It's not as simple as goodwill. It means the shop is more than probably not registered with the EU and doesn't know how to calculate and /or include EU VAT (sales tax). That in turn means Belgian Customs will charge a handling fee, minimum 18,50€. And don't even try to send the item as a present, the oldest trick in the book. Customs officers just laugh about all those "presents" and toss these on a heap for close, very close, inspection.
Don't count on your parcel escaping the greedy hands of Customs either. They have all the time in the world for checking each and every parcel. Hence the waiting times of weeks, if not months, before you get any news.
I used a forwarding company for a very special item but considering the costs you can't use this solution for "ordinary" items.

I see. Something to think about at election time, I suppose, although the State will always look for any excuse to tax something.
