Not my usual thing to make announcements, but you surely all know that the San Diego Comicon is starting today and Hot Toys announced that they would reveal a lot of figures, some article mentions 100 figures displayed on their booth, most never seen!!!

LOL that made me almost spill my drink. I had a faint recollection of this being an "issue" and went to look it up. Still don't get it completely (in part because I'm not steeped in a specific Batman franchise look or tradition, in part because ancient "muscle" armor did portray nipples alongside other body features), but anyway, the more movie characters, the better. Still hope they don't cheap out and provide only masked heads while jacking up the prices anyway, but not holding my breath.

There’s virtually nothing on the list so far that I’m all that excited for. How sad...

Very good point. Although there were at least two Michelle Pfeifer Catwoman figures by other companies (one had the nicer outfit, the other the more impressive likeness).

Aren't you excited about Maul? How about the Nth renditions of Iron Man, Cap, Spidey, and Thor?

I was surprised to see HT doing a vehicle (ship), but I wonder if it is sixth-scale.

In fact I found it quite relieving lol... I usually just have my eyes to cry over all those comicon exclusives and insane release I couldn't afford, if it's only about new IM armors and spidermen then my wallet is safe!

Personally I'm just waiting for the Endgame fat Thor, and the Hulk, I always passed on this big guy but the latest version made me laugh so hard I want him.

What is sad is they only give love to their most bankable franchises when they have gold in their books... I still hope for a doc Emmett Brown from the first BTTF, as well as Marty n Doc in their cowboy gear! I would also love to see a reedition of their pirates of caribeans side character, Keira Knightley and Geoffrey Rush mostly... Also dream about Elias and more characters from Platoon, a Trinity and Morpheus to come along with Neo (without them he is totally useless)

Rebellions are built on hope!

EDIT the jedi starfighter from the prequels is 1/6th scale to go along with their recent obiwan anakin and dooku but I doubt it will be mass produced, a bit like their falcon cockpit, we'll die before having these on our shelves lol

Not really, no. I think they’re wasting money and resources doing Maul from Solo, particularly since the likelihood of further sequels is slim.

I’m interested in Hulk, as well — but likeness and price will be deciding factor. I guess Endor Leia — which we originally saw last year— might be of interest for an accurate ROTJ Leia sculpt (that could possibly be modified to be a Slave Leia).

Many of the others you mentioned that haven’t been made would be great— but sadly, Howard would have to be hit by a bus before someone else could take over and start thinking outside what Howard likes, and also stop all the one and done crap.

More reveals... of course more marvel, rocket raccoon, captain marvel in her green suit, drax, iron rescue (pepper potts blue armor), nebula (dunno if it’s a new endgame version or just a deluxe but she is different from the one recently announced)

Yep, Sideshow seems to have done well with the wonder woman body, but I don't know about that sculpted hair... and as expected, HT's Robin only has a masked head sculpt. But that fighter (which hopefully comes without Anakin, otherwise imagine the price) does look very well done, as does Luke, although the picture is not very zoomed in.

I think the first 3 were Bill and Ted? but any how the second picture looks a lot like Professor Brian Cox just my impression. I agree with the above having little interest in the marvel or starwars franchises in fact I've refused to even go and see the latter in the cinema. I don't think hot toys will be having any of my money soon , expense of their figures also plays a part.

Really stoked to see Sideshow Wonder Woman but i'm not yet sold on that Michelle Rodriguez look. Of all the reference artworks and statues available to them!
Wish they would've sculpted her like artworks of Adam Hughes or Terry Dodson.

Looking forward to nippled Robin!
He's on a DX base so fingers crossed he has PERS or the joystick type eyes!

I'm probably alone, but there are very few things this year that I'm interested in. The Mezco 1/12 Bluto is a must have to go with my Popeye -- I kind of hope they make that dock/warehouse wall a thing, as well. IF Endor Leia and Wicket go up (I'm assuming they didn't put Leia up because they were waiting for Wicket to be ready to show) I'm considering getting them both. The new Jawas... meh, I don't know. I already have the Sideshow versions, and aside from floppy bodies (which can be fixed), even with the Gonk droid -- I don't know if I can justify paying an extra $100 for additional ones. The Padme, while not necessarily my thing, would be okay, I guess -- though the tailoring on her outfit leaves a lot to be desired, and the neck joint is hideous. I would have considered the Sideshow Wonder Woman (comic version) but the sculpted hair ruins it for me, and the QMX Lynda Carter WW needs a lot of work on the head sculpt to make that worthwhile. QMX is showing Inigo again -- but they've been showing him for the last three years with no PO in sight. The Mondo Creature From the Black Lagoon looks great (though a little too yellow in that shot -- hopefully it's more green in person), as that would be a must have for me. I'm interested in Endgame Hulk -- but the pajamas are kind of killing my enthusiasm. The head sculpt FINALLY has enough Mark Ruffalo in it that I might get it anyway -- my cousin (a couple years younger than me) went to school with Mark, so she'd be excited to see it.

I'm surprised Blitzway is still teasing the Antonio Banderas Zorro -- but the second head sculpt is a cool idea (though, I'm probably alone in thinking I'm not seeing much of AB in that unmasked sculpt). I'm not at all impressed with the two Captain Marvel reveals. Her figure especially doesn't look that good, and I don't see Jude Law at all (though the HT sycophants love it) -- I wonder if they'd be saying it looks great if Sideshow made it...? I'd be very surprised if the Anakin Starfighter ever sees the light of day. And why, for the love of god, is HT waisting time and resources on that crappy TV show Flash -- when they could be doing more figures from Aquaman. I'm not all that impressed with Bespin Luke -- what's with HT's obsession with an open-mouthed Hamill?

I already bought the Bullethead Mantis, but the HT one is tempting -- though the sculpted hair is killing it for me. I guess HT is listening to all the insecure, micro-penis, collectors who bitched and complained about rooted hair. Personally, I think long sculpted hair makes these things look more like a toy than a high-end collectible. I guess Asmus is going to end up being the leader in the 1/6 market as far as I'm concerned for the foreseeable future.

Too many companies tackling Stephen King's IT right now -- and none of them have really captured the overall creepiness of the character as far as I'm concerned. Shame.

So, so far, out of all of that, the only things I'm interested in:

Endgame Hulk (maybe -- price may turn this into a NO)
Endor Leia
Wicket (maybe)
Mezco Bluto
Mondo Creature/Lagoon (maybe)
Chekov (needs some work)
Lynda Carter Wonder Woman (only if they improve the head tenfold)

Thanks for the new photos. So much to take in. And so much that is beautifully done. QMX continues to impress -- and I like what they did with Wonder Woman (and her hair); Sideshow's choice of a Michelle Rodriguez likeness surprised me (I must have missed what this is based on, unless it is just coincidence), but it was their choice of hair that I found most unfortunate. Blitzway's Zoro looks very promising (though I imagine its price will not be). That new Sideshow Vader (ROTJ) looks good too.

Is that Sideshow's Vader? The one next to the Anakin Starfighter is 1/4 scale -- and I believe it's HT (assuming that's the one you're talking about).

No, next to Han in Carbonite, but you might be right anyway. They have different raised left hands. Sideshow was shown on the image right before it.

HT Mantis and Flash look good, whether or not one has much love for the characters. I also thought Padme looked fine, although I wonder if there isn't something ever so slightly off (bottom of face?). I don't mind open-mouthed Luke, but I'm less picky about him than others. I agree that there is finally more of Mark Ruffalo in (ironically) the Hulk (or semi-Hulk? no spoilers!) look.

Who is the back of the head shot of almost looks like Frodo to me?

I'm not impressed with the stitched and patched look to Captain America's costume It doesn't look right to me its kind of 'cobbled' together rather than being something professionally made.

I love the creature from the black lagoon it will be interesting to see how its jointed.

I would love the greatly oversized Raptor but as its hot toys i doubt even if it was released if id be able to afford it added together that it doesn't fit the excepted 'design' for a raptor these days (no feathers)

The back head shot is Inigo from Princess Bride, he’s been shown over the he last 3 years with no PO in sight.
The raptor is from Chronicle Collectibles, not HT, but I’d be surprised if it ever gets to PO.

It's just not Frazetta enough for me without the mound of bones and the naked girl. Still kind of cool looking. I guess one could put the TBLeague 1/12 females to good use with this.

I was never a fan of Frazetta's Conan, he is just too ugly and looks like he talks with a lisp.
