That is awesome. Incredible use of the Hulk body to make that Minotaur. Always nice to see your photo stories. And the costumes on your characters are beautifully crafted as usual. I never would have thought of Mr. Bean as a warrior, ingenious.

No finer creator of fantasy figures around than you. Beautiful work.

Please tell us how you made the Minotaur and thank you for the photos.

Thanks Friends,
the Minotaur is a Hulk body with selfmade Head and Legs. The legs are small, i know. But many massive monsters have proportions like this.

kitbash - Beast Hunters X9mdljus

I use Mr. Z Bean headsculpts and cut of the neck for the "Warrior" Laughing I need that sculpts with facial expressions for to tell stories. I found a way to color phichen rubber bodys with  Staedler Oil pastels. For example here are two bodys. i try to give Mr. Beans Head a Body color match.

kitbash - Beast Hunters Xvsjlkvy

The Minotaur is the biggest Beast i made so far. Taller than the Ogre.

Awesome. You should do a tutorial on how you were able to color the Phicen body. There are many of us who are interested, and we’d be eternally grateful.

That’s a great Minotaur. I’ve been wanting to do one of these myself. The story of Theseus was always my favorite of the old Greek stories. I think your’s looks awesome.

Oh he’s marvellous! I love his expression!
I think the second-last photo is my favourite, it reminds me of an old fantasy novel cover or something - so much drama! I also really like the shot of her leaping at the Minotaur - so well done!

Beautifully done, Ephiane -- both the photo story and the individual characters. Very realistic walls, too. I am very happy you shared them with us. And I was worried you had abandoned us... it was worth the wait. Smile

As Stryker pointed out, painting seamless bodies has been an issue that has come up again and again. So please share any and all pointers with us. HERE is the relevant thread.

Exquisite work Ephiane! The outfit on each of the characters are so beautifully done, the diorama is also very impressive in terms of size and details. But the most outstanding one of all in my view is that Minotaur, it's astonishingly beastly and brutish. I just love the details on the head sculpt, the face, the horns, and the hooves all look amazing.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention how awesome the photography is as well, love that shot where she's leaping towards the Minotaur with the knife, she's so brave.

P.S. The blood effects look awesome (did the knife really pierce its skin?).

Holy crap! That Minotaur is incredible! That head is just amazing, and truly monstrous. And that Mr Bean head is incredible. I can't imagine anyone else who would have used it the way you have, and it's absolutely perfect. It's so expressive, and lands the character a ton of personality. I love it. I'm so curious, do all of your cast of characters have names?

And these photos so ended on such a cliffhanger, with him facing off against the Minotaur! I'm genuinely anxious to see how this plays out.

Fox, the Hulk Body is very hard behind the rubber skin. I have the change the blade of her dagger to hit him. The Old dagger blade was not sharp enough.

kitbash - Beast Hunters V4v3c2cj

Reverend, yes You are right. I have to find some Names for all my creatures and characters.

Tjolnir, yes this is not a chinese hulk. That one can´t hold a steel skeleton figure in one hand. I need the HT Hulk that for.

Wow Ephiane, I fear for your Minotaur, the new blade looks lethal (an x-acto blade I assume?). I would be nervous if I were to fiddle around with that blade, do be careful. Smile

Thank You, Shovelchop. But Your Applause is undeserved. Embarassed  I really like photoshop, but my skills are to bad by using it. The Problem is i have to read the manual Rolling Eyes
To remove the strings from the pictures i use the normal " Paint" Program. It´s on everyones PC. A stand is to massiv to remove for me. I also use it to move the Eyes form the figures. Really easy.

I used to use fishing line, but even it has to be removed eventually. Once I ventured into the world of photo editing, there was no turning back. This isn't to say that I never use string; it's still a useful tool, just not the only tool.

Excellent Idea, Thank You. I try it soon. Could be translucent on pictures. You have Pics of this ?
