MUSIC FOR THE MOOD:
A year's time passed by, and it was Gheizt's general rule to relocate his lair to a different setting by this time so as to avoid potential detection. He found a nice secluded area near some caverns in the wilderness, and gradually relocated all the lab's equipment.
Things had been all too quiet for some time now throughout the lands. On this day, however, a woman appeared in Gheizt's lair, seemingly out of thin air, startling him. He was bewildered at first, but as Gheizt came closer, he realized she was afraid and that also...she looked familiar.
It was Aurora, a girl he could have sworn he had previously only met in some sort of...dream state. Yet here she was now. Aurora explained that she and a boy named Ashteran had discovered a set of sacred artifacts and had been toying around with them, including the teleportation device she used to get here. But Ashteran went mad and seemingly became possessed, mutating into a monstrous entity, though not before 'marking' Aurora with some strange energy that permanently tattooed her face and allowed him to remain 'bonded' with her. She escaped in a hurry, using the teleporter to randomly appear near the first person that popped in her head - a man who she had only seen in her dream states many times before, yet somehow had this very strong connection to.
Aurora was devastated by the entire situation, and on top of that her teleportation device had somehow been fried by coming here. But Gheizt assured her she would be safe, and that he had plenty of supplies to share, as well as certain supernatural stones in his possession that could probably help repair her teleportation device.
However, just then the lab's lights flickered as a deep raspy voice whispered from behind them: "Oohhh I don't THINK so..."
