It still looks like a very nice set, though I have no use for it myself. Do these pants really puff out like that?

YEP they really do puff out like that, although they are supposed to haha

'Puffy' jodhpurs are a relic of a time before stretchy fabrics and were definitely a thing. Perhaps these are somewhat exaggerated due to the translation into the smaller scale (and the somewhat stiff fabric used), but I suppose that could also be due to them being interpreted in a 'military fashion' sense here rather than intended for purely practical context. ;D

Thank you for confirming. I knew they do in principle, but thought it looked a bit overdone -- which did not come from any sort of expertise, hence my question. Glad to hear they are accurate.
