Very cool sets, especially the exclusive/dx.

the zombie doggo is definately a plus, but is it just me of did they a better job with the zombiefied head of jill than the normal one? the later rather has a deer in the headlights look, when ingame she looked determined and pissed almost all the time. given the fact that there are two different versions of jill coming from different companies i guess i'll wait for the price point of each before i make a decision. cheers

I've been waiting for this, funny enough the only reason I'm buying this pack is for the zombie version of jill.


that being said, it's still well worth the price for what it comes with, and I can always swap out the head, I must say, for such a quality pack, the head sculpt on the human version of jill is the weakest point of this pack.


Funny enough I feel the head set in this pack is better, but the cloths/body don't suit the character.

That actually looks pretty good. I’m not into video games, so I don’t have a vested interest in how the character looks in the game, but of the 10-15 versions (my own exaggeration) announced recently, I actually liked this version the best.

I just got mine. It's nice but the head is so different from the prototype. Not as pretty, IMHO. And a lot of the accessories like the shotgun shell have nowhere to go.

are the bodies seamless? double bodies! look expensive!

The HS could be better. I'll probably go for the zombie version, if available！

Not sure if the full bodies are seamless but the shoulders and elbows definitely are. Yea it's good value. Likely to have steel skeletons judging by their weight.

The paint on the head sculpt seems sort of...bland to me.
I dunno. The MT version might not look like Jill from the game, but the paint application on that MT sculpt vs this one is leagues ahead.

I’m not all that familiar with the character beyond being somewhat of a pop culture icon, and therefore having plenty of merchandise that you can’t help but come across frequently.  So I can’t really comment on whether or not it captures the essence of the character, but in and of itself, I think it’s a beautiful sculpt based on your pics.

EDIT - I just took a long look at the prototype pics, and I actually like the production version much better.  I can see I’m in the minority, so it must just be my own aesthetics.

I think this is what they were going for.  The face is there.  Probably could have used a little more shadow around the eyes, and the hair needed to be a darker brown (“You mean like the PROTOTYPE?” everyone says in unison) but I do like it.

For those who have the figure, any problems with the silicone skin peeling at all? I was thinking of putting this one on my short list, but in the one review I found on You Tube, there was a problem with the skin peeling on the back of the lower right shoulder right out of the box.

Not so far but I've only had them for a couple weeks.

I haven't noticed any peeling on mine yet either. But it's also been stored in a box until I can make room for it. lol

I think the KGHobby Facebook pics are definitely distorted.  Now that you mention it though, it looks like  the head is sitting higher on the neck in Glitch’s first pic which may make it  look a little more narrow.  I don’t see it in the last two pics, though.  Is that just camera angles Glitch, or is the head actually sitting lower on the neck in the last two shots?

I keep going back and forth on this one.  There are just too many Jills, and each one does some things well and others not so well.  I do think I like this one the best overall.  The clothing is tailored really well, and now that I’ve done some research on the character, I can see her in the sculpt.  On the downside, the hair really needs to be darker.  That’s an easy fix for many, but I swore off any type of customizing because I’m never satisfied with my own work.   The accessories aren’t great, and that one review I mentioned has me wondering about the quality of the body used.

That’s one thing about 1/12 that’s a little easier for me.  There’s not a lot of interchangeability between figures made by the same company much less different companies.  “You get what you get and you don’t get upset.”  With 1/6, you can always spend more money and swap out heads, bodies, clothing, accessories, etc because there’s so much out there and a lot more overlap on popular characters like this one.  So it’s a lot easier (at least for me) to be unsatisfied.

Yes! I completely forgot to mention, I scooped out some of the extra plastic where the neck adapter plugs into.
Since the neck is pretty thin, this little mod makes her head sit slightly lower. It gives it a more natural look imo.
And before the mod, if you pushed the head down, it would sort of scrunch/wrinkle up the rubber on the neck because the hole on the bottom of the sculpt isn't large enough. Didn't look very good. lol

All in all, I'm looking a bit more forward to Hot Heart's upcoming Jill(s) instead.

That mod you did made a world of difference in the overall look of the figure.   I almost bought one from Giantoy, but thought “With so many different versions on the horizon, if I’m going to invest in a Jill, I should do some due diligence first to make sure I get the one I’ll be happiest with.”

I watched every You Tube review I could find, looked at all of the promo pics, and scoured the internet for in hand pics of the ones that have been released.  I settled on the MT Toys version.  $230 shipped from KGHobby including the S17B body.  (Shipping costs are getting completely out of control, but that’s another thread).

My rational is that I liked the sculpt(s) on the MT the best overall, and I’m getting a body I know I can trust.  I think the clothing is better on most of the other offerings, but if I never bought another 1/6 Jill item, the clothing on the MT version is more than satisfactory.

if one of the upcoming sets are parted out, or someone here just wants the head sculpt(s) and wants to split a set with me, I’ll see if I can give her clothing an upgrade if the fit looks right without it costing me an arm and a leg.

The Hot Heart set was the first runner up.  The Claire Redfield they did looks amazing, but I’m going to hold off for the upcoming UB-Toys version to pair with the Dam Toys Leon that I have en route.

One thing I’ll say about the MT version of Jill.   A couple of reviewers did that figure a big disservice by not putting her on a S17B.  That body makes a world of difference with the overall look and fit of the clothing, especially the two tops.

EDIT: I just saw that even though the Hot Heart set includes a non-seamless body, she’s modeled on a S17B. How serendipitous!
