The incredibility detailed figure is crafted based on Mysterio’s Iron Man Illusion in the movie, features heavily weathering effects with scratches and rust; overall expertly painted metallic red, gold and silver colored corroded armor; a newly developed severely damaged helmeted head with LED light-up function, revealing partial skull on the left; exposed wires attached to the shattered Iron Man armor revealing fine mechanical details; LED light-up functions on Arc Reactor on chest, and hands. Last but not least, a highly elaborated diorama figure base inspired by the hallucination fight with LED light-up function design; comes with a droid and green smoke effects; and pixelated effect accessories to complete the remarkable visual setting.

It's looking great, although I cannot personally muster up much excitement for it. But I bet some hardcore fans are ecstatic.

Honestly seeing something as dumb as this — which had less than 4 seconds of screen time — really bums me out when we STILL don’t have an ESB Lando or Han. WTF?!

Expensive too! But too creepy for me!

I like it, it is very different from the usual Iron Man figures BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT it is way overpriced and there are definitely a few dozen figures I would prefer see made first (Liara T'soni, Trenchcoat Han, the range troopers from Solo, Master Chief from Halo CE/2/3/Infinite, ODST, Illang troopers, Serious Sam, Duke Nukem, Classic Doomguy, Prometheus Engineer etc etc etc etc etc etc).  Totally gonna skip ordering this "illusion" Iron Man

I can't believe that for the most part people are being so blasé about this figure.

First of all, it's quite possibly the single most detailed/weathered 1/6 figure I have ever seen.

Secondly I do not see it at all as "something as dumb as this — which had less than 4 seconds of screen time" -- because I really could care less about the Spider-Man Far form Home movie connection in the first place. This is freaking Zombie Iron Man!!! (Let's say it again. It's Iron Man! and it's a Zombie! Check out that skull peeking through the helmet!) In contrast to "4 seconds of screen time" people should note that Marvel's comics series "Marvel Zombies" was hugely successful, going through 3 or 4 best-selling Miniseries, soon to be an episode of What If? on TV (while DC basically just copied the same concept doing Zombie versions of its superheroes etc. with the great-titled "DCeased"). This figure is basically "Marvel Zombies" done by Hot Toys.

My only concern is that the HT site says 10 points of articulation (Stryker2011's text above is unclear) so hopefully poseability won't be too badly sacrificed.

Hot Toys website (http://www.hottoys.com.hk/productDetail.php?productID=832) says as below. I'd be happier if it just said "multiple" (though semantically that could just mean 2 POA ). If you find anything different, I'll be grateful (as I already am for all your informative posts anyway, Stryker2011).

If you look at the first post, past that paragraph you copied, it says “multiple”. I even see in my original post it seems to also say “points of articulations0”. So bizarre. My guess is it has more than 10. What the exact number is... that’s a mystery. The whole thing could be a typo, as they put up quite a few products on the same day.

Yikes! I just saw the cost for this on Timewalker: $420 (normal price), $407 PO price USD.

nicely done. Very detailed, with the wiring and the BEAUTIFUL sculpt. A must buy for Iron man collector or fan of Tony Stark

Ultron MK1 was more impressive IMHO but yeah zombie Iron Man is cool. not over 400USD cool but cool for sure. I suspect the 'glitch' effects will be removable for proper zombie Iron Man
