This 1/6 scale figure of Professor McGonagall features an authentic likeness of Maggie Smith and an accurate film costume. She comes with the Sorting Hat, her transfiguration cat form, a stool and other assorted accessories.
The Deluxe version includes her classroom desk and chair with a variety of classroom equipment, including multiple books, a candle, cup, magnifying glass and ink pot.

Likeness isn't all that great, but I love the accessories with this one.

I agree. The likeness to Maggie just isn't there, but I can see using her as just an elderly woman (since they are virtually unheard of in this hobby). I really love all the accessories, and depending on the price, I might go for the Deluxe set, and use everything for other things. (I'm terrified of the cost, since this is Star Ace, and I'm sure the final head sculpt will probably end up being even more disappointing than the prototype -- but we'll see. I probably won't place a PO, but wait for final picks before making any decisions.

Actually I think there is plenty of likeness there, perhaps even more so when she's wearing glasses. But it is somewhat tenuous, and when that is the case with the prototype, I worry about the final product. Nice to have a good older woman sculpt, I agree. Great accessories in the set and especially the accessory pack.

I think the problem with the sculpt is the amount of lines or wrinkles around the chin these are too pronounced.

It is indeed nice to have an older woman headsculpt -- I think Ovy would prob find a great use for it for sure. :')

I really do like the accessories... wish I could justify the expense, but alas.

Yeah maybe but I doubt there will be a way to get that sculpt separately.
She also looks super tired and depressed, like her least fun self. Don't really remember the movies, only seen some, but I remember the character being slightly happier. I'd really like a Daniel Radcliffe head though. Not a clean Harry one, but one of these weirder newer ones like from swiss army man, young doctor's diary, horns or guns akimbo.

Yikes. $350 for the Deluxe $239 for the standard; $135 for the accessory pack. 350 is WAY too much for any Star Ace figure.

Yeah, definitely way too much. Though I guess it's nice the accessory pack is available separately.
