Ephiane

Thanks Again for all the usefull Stuff. Today i get this here... 1:6 and round about 20 $ at the bay. That´s a ceap China version, so i thougt it will be not so good like at the pictures, but it is ! Very Happy

I thought it can´t be resin. Because it´s very expensive. But it is Resin.

You can see every muscle. I will use it for the swamp troll Kitchen. As a Guy, she stripped off his  skin Laughing

P.S. : You can see here what TBL does not in a correct way at the anatomie of the Figures. We All love TBL, sure. But the shoulders can be smaller. It´s by the skeleton, not only by the rubber. You can feel it by touching Your TBL Bodys.

Cool new acquisition, Ephiane. Can't wait to see what you'll do with it.

Ooooh that’s awesome! He’ll look great painted up! I think Martha has already done some...uhh...amputating... XD

We don’t have Targets here in the U.K., but a few of my US based doll friends have said that there are some great 1/6th scale BBQs decorations for sale at the moment! They’re pretty basic but with a bit of tweaking they could have some good potential!

These included a delightfully soft and squeezable pig from Wildlife Wow, a rattlesnake from Mojo, dagger- and light-shaped charms from Fairy Tale, and container- and cup shaped charms from Charm Me (the Fairy Tale and Charm Me lines were on 50% off sale).

Those Fairy Tale brand charms can be quite useful, and the craft stores typically have long aisles just stacked with all sorts of them.

Superb acquisitions, indeed.

Hey! I think I just bought the same rattlesnake from Omer DeSerres (art supply chain) here in Montreal!

That’s a cool grill, Christine. Are your friends going to get one for you?

I hope it serves you well. I haven't done much with mine, but it seemed about right size-wise. I can see where it will come in handy for your dioramas.

A lot of ebay sellers currently have a cheap foozball game that is very close to 1:6 scale. I bought one to put in my video arcade diorama that I'm in the early stages of planning. All it needs is some legs to bring it up to the right height.

This is an excellent find, and delightfully affordable. You have a good nose for these. Of course now we have to brave the stormy seas of potentially flaky eBay sellers -- I noticed that while all the offers were quite cheap, there was only one seller with 99% positive feedback: everyone else had less, some alarming comments, and a few had screen names that hardly inspired trust, such as fashion-fat or sex_plaza!

If one doesn't arrive, simply order another one. Ebay always sides with the buyer so you can't lose money. I bought the cheapest one I could find and it arrived with no problem. It only cost a few bucks so I don't even care if it works. It is meant for display, not to play.

Working on the walls. I was going to simply print some out, which would have been fine for a photo but not for a proper display. I'm making it all from wood panelling. Taking a while to get it right.

Just added a post to the blacksmith thread with an update.

Nah, for what it’d cost in postage I could make my own for far less! Laughing Tbh I like making these kind of things anyway, so it’s another project on the back burner...so to speak. XD

I’ve got another good find for you too! My friend actually gave me this as a late Christmas gift for M&J but I’d had it in my watch list on eBay for ages! Mini Connect 4!

You can find them online under ‘elf on the shelf accessories’ for under £4 and it really works. The bottom part folds up keeping all the counters in place.

Not bad at all. I recently found a slightly different version and have it on order now. Will post pics when it arrives.

Also, found some small dice so decided to put together a gaming pack. The dice are 5mm so a little large but not too bad (3 to 4 mm would be ideal). The dice cup is made from bamboo. I'm hoping that the above Connect 4 counters are small enough to double as checkers/draughts pieces for the chess board.

Some really great stuff. I could have used that gaming stuff for my Cigar Girl bash a while back. Can't have enough "loaded" dice at a Casino.

The black detailing is sloppy. Had to touch them up with some white gloss enamel paint.

Hmmm. Just checked e-Bay for this. The seller wants less than $4.00 for the item but $100.00 to ship it to Canada. Somehow, I don't think I'm gonna go for that.

So find another seller; there are tons of them. I got mine for $4 including free shipping to Australia.

Yeah....found another one two minutes later. I just thought someone might get a gas at what some e-Bay sellers try....

Yep. There are some sneaky buggers on ebay. My favourite are the ones who list something with an opening bid of 0.01 so they appear at the top off the listings and then cancel the auction just before it ends if the bids don't reach the price they want.

Yeah, I looked too but couldn’t find anything! Maybe they’re available in store only? Idk, we don’t have Target here so I can’t exactly go in and check! Laughing

Oh, I get that, maybe I'll give it a try today. Just not sure what section it would be in, if it is in at all.

Just came back from Target. I looked everywhere I could think of, especially in the seasonal (?) displays up front (which had plenty of summery and holiday things), the toy aisles, and the actual BBQ aisles... but no luck. Maybe mine just didn't stock it or it is all sold out. Note that the Planet of the Dolls link is from last year.

Hmmm that’s odd! I’ve definitely seen people on Instagram finding them this year! (I know the link was old, it was the only one I could find! XD)
