Billy decided that his tools were not up to par and he needed to pick something with more potential for an effective weapon.
So he went looking for something. He'd know it when he saw it...
What's that, a challenger! The nerve of that guy! I'm holding her freakin baby!
Take this, you... you... unwelcome supe intruder!
Wait, you were worried Billy would vaporizeHomela... Superman?
No way. First, they are buds...
Second, he is Superman.
Third, it was a cheap lighting effect anyway, not yet amplified with special effects in post production.
Still... how did they do it? Watch and learn...
Using the alternate baby head (with dark blank eye lenses), open it up by removing the cap.
Insert one of the provided batteries into the little circuit board turned as pictured...
And magic of magics, it lights up, pretty brightly! Sometimes the slightest touch or vibration would make it go on or off.
Place the assembly into the back compartment of the open head, with the light facing forward (obviously).
Replace the cap, making sure it fits well. The light would be going on and off as you do this, as it is very sensitive.
And now, swap the heads, and you should have a fully armed and operational mutant baby shooting lethal magic blue lasers with its eyes... well, once you add some special effects... meanwhile just admire these glowing baby blues...
I hope this was mildly amusing and maybe even useful to someone; it took me a minute to figure out (the instruction sheet was not particularly detailed), although it was not difficult in the end.
