Well, the re-issue of the head sculpt alone would make this a hit.

Yep. Get her while she's hot. VC isn't dumb. They saw the demand for her, like the demand for Villa, and are going to cash in and take money away from all the re-casters and eBayers. Pretty smart actually.

Makes sense, and you're right, they've done it before. I thought we were going over the top when they first offered her, although I picked up one when I came across it parted out and like it well enough. Anyway, I've got my Ms Spetsnaz needs covered, but I bet plenty of others will be very excited about this one -- as a whole set or just the head.

Very good for the people who want to get a legitimate version of this particular head sculpt.

The price for the head sculpt on ebay is going to be astronomical assuming many people will want the "painting effect upgrade" sculpt for their first version figure. I know I'm going to want one for mine...

He had heard of this coming over a month ago due to demand/popularity, but a different camo version. Thanking DAM Toys for the weapons could be due to quality issues and criticisms about their weapons from prior sets or Verycool is trying a co-op — it remains to be seen. (And as usual for him, he’s already gotten his order in for a case of six — hehe. Good on him.)


I wonder if PitViper would be interested in another one of these sans head, as that’s all I really want. I did manage to snag an authentic head loose from a US eBayer for $30, but an improved paint app would be ideal — even though the first version is pretty good. But I have plans for that head which include losing the pony tail and giving it both a different hair style, and having her hair “let down,” but I’d still like to have one that is retained in its original form.

I guess we should have expected a version like this!

Pretty much a given they'll do a 1/12 version in the future, Diana, seeing how popular she is.

Previous version, they did mention DAMtoys for the weapons as well and they were pretty good on the set. I don't have any other damtoys weapons, but they are easily comparable to the higher end ones like Easy and Simple with many moving parts.

I found myself saying “Damn toys!” repeatedly while handling Kerr and Miss Spetsnaz’s weapons, so at least they tell you what you’re getting up front.   I’ll see if there’s been any improvement when this Miss Spetsnaz arrives, she, but she’s probably getting upgraded to an E&S HK17 like black camo Kerr and black camo Villa.

Got a shipping notification from Giantoy this week. This is in stock now. Be careful if buying the head sculpt loose. There is still a pile of the knock-offs from the first version out there that some unscrupulous sellers may try to pass off as this new one.

I wonder if there will be as much demand for this HS parted out, given it's virtually identical to the original?

I just received mine. It's nice, but the shirt had to go. I replaced it with a skin tight long sleeve turtle neck instead. Replaced the base body too with a TBL while I was at it. Don't know which one as just grabbed the closest spare I had. LOL

It looks like this is a limited set of 800 pieces (not sure if it's 800 of version A and 800 of version B; or 800 total for both A and B). My card was numbered A075 (A being the version and 75/800 manufactured I'm guessing).

No pics yet. Still busy IRL. Still haven't touched any of the other PO's that arrived as well. Some non scale that I think will work great with 1/6. If they do work out I'll be posting them up too. LOL
