NEW PRODUCT: COOMODEL - Legend of the Empire-Viking Conqueror-Warrior, Berserker, Lord#EL001/EL002/EL003

I paid my invoice for the EL001 on Thursday, so hopefully have it in a few weeks.

Paid for 003 too. That should be a great fig

Mine arrived today (EL003). I opened it up and had a quick look. I said above that it would only be worth the price to me if I could get two figures out of it and it looks like I can. There are some minor deviations but it looks pretty close to the promo pics. The mail shirt is the best miniature mail that I've ever seen. Should have some pics in a day or two.

Here is the figure that came in the box. It is pretty close to the promo pics. The main difference is the bound hands. In the promo the hands look like they are bound in cloth. In this version the bindings are painted. Overall I'm very happy with it.

I'm not putting a helmet on this guy because I like the head sculpt. I'm putting together a second figure using the rest of the accessories.

He looks great. Nice posing with those wings, by the way.

Looks good! Sad I couldn't get it, but I've had to massively cut down on extraneous purchases this year. The seax is probably one of my fave parts, maybe will try to find that loose. : )

I received mine yesterday (forgot to list it in the Latest Purchase thread). Pretty cool figure.

Took some pics with that viking boat from Jose (Onesixthartmodels from spain) That thing is very well done, with wood and resin.
(forgive me the backdrop, I didn't want to iron it and also not wanna start photoshopping every pic)

When they were first found the archaeologist thought that they were wrist guards. It has since been demonstrated that they are shin greaves. The find is Vendel rather than Viking but a decent argument can be made that Vikings probably used them too.

Fantastic to see the pictures of these arriving and historical pointers for kit placement shazzdan. That ship is fantastic and great moody lighting shots Valiarde. I hope they re-issue the ship one day but don’t know the chances of that happening....

And oh, that is not the coomodel ship but a custom piece by onesixthartmodels. He still offers it on his website https://www.onesixartmodels.com/product/drakar/
(but for a bit higher price than I got it for two years ago - fb group members got a discount back then) The shipping cost might be steep outside europe though.

Tanzenwolfe, if you were thinking this is the CooModel ship (I couldn't tell from the comment, but it crossed my mind), as Simon said, it is not. But they are very similar in concept. The CooModel one is reviewed here:
