What would have been the best approach to recreating the rug? as an actual 1/6th rug based on the original would have involved a ton of work. A printed version would probably come in for much criticism. Sideshow did include a plastic base that features a print featuring part of the rug pattern.

I have no knowledge of Sideshow and later batches being lower quality. I assume it is true, then maybe it applies to some figures from Sideshow's past?
