Noob has been assigned to aid Shao Kahn in his acquisition of Earthrealm. A faithful servant and a recent addition to the Brotherhood of Shadow, he will obey his master, Quan Chi, and complete his mission. But he is biding his time. Noob Saibot has a dark objective of his own.

Woooow, he looks great! I even like the purple swirly bits! I don't normally like these solid things that represent non-solid things, but it works extremely well here.

The costume has lots of kitbashing potential.

Wasn't Noob Saibot a secret character, that had to be unlocked in some button pushing code, or finishing the game with a high score or something??? I might be misremembering that though.
He definitely started out as just a shadow shaped exactly like scorpion, etc. And he used their move sets too. Then he became a proper independant character later. It's been a VERY long time since I played MC, so I might be making all this up?

Yep. The first time he appeared was in MK2 where he was a hidden character. He was a regular character in subsequent games.
