It's early days here and we're still getting our feet wet. I'm sure we'll get a techie in at some point that can steer things in the right direction. There's only so much more the rest of OSW can take before they aim the guns at the decks and man the lifeboats. We've just got to send up a PBY and rescue them before the sharks get them.

Oh, sorry should have gotten back to you yesterday. The advice was to change my browser settings to block pop-up ads. Yeah... did that. Wiped out all my “history” on every web-site, and thus cleared my usernames and passwords on every site, in the process, on my iPad (which was the only way I was able to still be on the OSW, since I haven’t been able to get on on my iMac). So, until they either destroy that site completely, or get it fixed, I’m thru waiting time over there.

I feel your pain. Hopefully you can still read and view posts there (I have had problems with viewing some of the images when not logged in -- but I now realize these must have been the ones hosted on their own albums). In the meantime, I hope this new forum provides an outlet for your posting inclinations.

That might be why your signature wasn't going through, but my signature -- which is saved but not showing up -- doesn't have an external link. So the mystery continues.

Nice to see Dadrab on board, this place gets better every day. Soon the only difference will be OSF instead of OSW.

One immediately noticeable thing I like about the OSF is how our avatars are properly sized. They're not minuscule and we can see/view them proper below our screen names on the left side of the screen.

I know that could be viewed as insignificant/trivial, but to me it's about the small things at times.

I agree that things look good already.

Just thought I’d mention, the mobile interface for the site is pretty smooth and easy. I’m sitting and waiting at the vet, and posting from my phone. The only down side is that you can’t seem to quote posts from the mobile site, which is a bit annoying.

I also have been playing around with the Topic’it app, which gives you some more options posting, although is a little clunky browsing.

I’m sure we all prefer the regular desktop site, but thought I’d at least throw in my 2 cents on mobile options.
