Chinese folks did it again. Flabbergasted. Imagine all the opportunities, it's like 1:6 turned lego.

Well in principle it's all very exciting, but in practice it depends upon if the system is anything like as stable and durable as it seems to be flexible.

Some of those connections look a little flimsy...

That's what I thought when looking through the pictures too, if China unites and standardizes a good quality modular 1/6 Lego system with other parties joining in, we could leave the days of unmatching bodies behind.

So many cool options. I love it in principle, although I'm mostly beyond open seams. Speaking of, what's with the lower faces? Doesn't seem to be an opening mouth option, but swap out beards? Concept is great, but I also wonder about the quality.

I am amazed at the commitment to creating this system. Very impressive, though I sadly don't care much for jointed bodies.

i think the key to this working is if the company stick to their guns, and continue to add and improve to the system. of course also getting the body to be used by 3rd parties would also help the system grow. i know why a lot of people on here prefer seamless but i think the majority of collectors being hot toys style licenced and did/dam military just dont care about seamless much at all aside from a few specialist figures they may want? i like the look of these personally

Seems to be a modified heath ledger joker headsculpt

I noticed they posed the naked old guy in afrog-leaping pose, quite an unusual pose to show off articulation, it reminded me of The Beast, the villain in Kung Fu Hustle.
Checking the face sculpt, it looks a lot like the actor. Also they did a low neck line cut since he wears a sando shirt in the movie. Or maybe it's just a coincidence...

GianToy now has these up for pre-order at around the same price point as older WorldBox models, but they're only offering the 'basic' bodytype, not any of the more interesting variants.

Still, even the 'average' one is more realistically-shaped than anything TBL or Jiaou or even WorldBox have to offer.

Although if I'm reading the packing list correctly, you get three torso size connectors and three leg size connectors, so if that's true, it seems like a bargain...
