Sharing a quick photo comparison of Buzz from 2 different companies that scales differently but are of equally high quality.
I'm not going to list all the specs (as they are readily available online) so here we go.

Advertised specs :
S.H.Figuarts (SHF) : Height Approx 150mm : plastic
PopMart/Gong (PM/G) : Height Approx 223mm : Diecast & Plastic

Buzz Lightyear 9kbNLoo
Buzz Lightyear MtWjceA

Headsculpts :
Buzz Lightyear GHFK0ng
Buzz Lightyear GrP0myQ

Size comparison :
In some of the pictures, you're not seeing 2 of the same figures - both are just that good.
Buzz Lightyear PsgsKM9
Buzz Lightyear Lok5qGy
Buzz Lightyear 2M2bf9h
Buzz Lightyear FGF114h
Buzz Lightyear LXCEFTF

Detailing :
Smaller Buzz has obviously less detailing but still impressive nevertheless given it's smaller size.
I may weather him up a bit..

Buzz Lightyear 3mEwQ00
Buzz Lightyear ZpoDUUg
Buzz Lightyear 17CWc25
Buzz Lightyear EBpLPFa
Buzz Lightyear IYtbqT5
Buzz Lightyear En5E5x8
Buzz Lightyear BF8aK5j
Buzz Lightyear 8LqHSib

Both have excellent articulation and each can match the other's posing capabilities and if you didnt know they were of different sizes, you'd think they were from the same company with one having a weathered look and the other a clean look.

Things to note:
1. SHF : does not come with a stand/base - they just included a crotch grabber.
2. PM/G : comes with a badass magnetic base.
3. SHF : Dome visor comes as 1 piece
4. PM/G : Dome visor can open / close as necessary
5. SHF : Jet pack wings are interchangeable
6. PM/G " Jet pack wings are retractable and is attached to the pack
7. PM/G Buzz has his wrist communicator accessed by opening the flap
8. Both do not come with Sox the cat (which sux) - PM/G did offer them at presale pre-order apparently.

Which is better?
- Both are excellent pieces.
-If you're not too fussed about scale (like me) get them both if you're a fan of the movie (or this version of Buzz).

Here's SHF Buzz bailing out some alien dudes from sort of trouble.

Hot toys is also coming out with their own Buzz figure (with Sox the cat and some other accessories) but I think I'll pass.
I do not think it's diecast like the Popmart/Gong figure.

That's all folks !
Thanks for dropping by !

Thank you for the photo comparison. I'm not actually one with a passion for anything cartoon- or anime-ish, but I can appreciate the fine quality, poseability, and accessories of these sets. Plus, I did like some of the movies. Nice "alien dudes" too. Smile

I've become a collector of left-field stuff coming out of the pandemic and I've not watched the movie this dude is based on.
The articulation and design of the suit from both companies is what drew me in.
