While
Lowe the hunter was definitely a hit for me, Bourbon the gangster is more of a miss in comparison.
Not a complete miss though, but out of package shot above falls short of my expectations. The pants sit too high (they were even higher), belt is "fake" - it's only a small piece on the front glued to the pants, and it detached on one side almost immediately (had to glue it back).
And the face looks too stylized.
Maybe I should have expected more anime proportions, but I didn't after getting Lowe - and look how more realistic Lowe is:
Still, the figure has its merits. It can look good: he certainly has a character.
Accessories are nice too, though there are quite few of them - only 4 hands, and two of them on the picture above are non-matching (i.e. ungloved right hand with attached cigarette, but the left is gloved)
Katana and sheath are well detailed. The pistol is simple but does its job
Height-wise, Bourbon is smaller than Mezco figures, but head is of comparable size:
So for me with most of other figures being less stylized, he kind of works as a background character, but not really for close-ups.
This whole Frontline Chaos line is, indeed, chaotic.
