The Mr. Z Mongolian horses were a lot better/more realistic (from my perspective, at least), but these are kinda cute. Not sure about the poses, but it looks like they went for stability. And while I know what they were trying to do with the multi-coloured hair (add more realism), seems like maybe they should have put a bit more than just one strand?

I'm no expert, but these look small, are they supposed to be smaller? Otherwise, details look cool. I wish they'd done a proper shot with the figures rather than worms eye views so I could see how a regular figure compares next to it.

Yes, Mongolian horses are small. They are in fact distantly related to Icelandic horses, which are also quite small. They are what would be considered pony-size, however they are technically horses not ponies.

I like these a lot, but, yes, the Mr Z version was a bit finer. And I agree that they could have done a better job at showing how these compare to regular human figures. They are famous for being small, but I don't know what they are trying to obscure here -- that they made them too big or too small?

They look pretty stocky. I’m assuming that’s normal due to the cold temps…?

These look adorable! I would display them without rider anyway, and one of each pose next to each other would be utter cuteness!
