Here’s another full set:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPERDUCK-SET020-1-6-X-23-Wolverine-Laura-Kinney-Head-Clothes-Set-In-Stock/173852424497?hash=item287a697931:g:0RMAAOSwTXdcmzK3

I couldn’t find anymore, but if you can’t find the exact one you’re looking for — here’s a slightly comparable alternative:

Belated thanks for the links, Stryker!

Ok, I feel like I'm having deja vu, since last year I was looking for male DamToys wrist pegs, but now I'm in need of a pair of female DamToys wrist pegs -- decidedly harder to come by... in loose form, at least.

I haven't had any luck, but just putting it out there....

Ok, maybe omeone here can help me. OneSixthOutfitters had this great Dr Strange Book of Cagliostro up for a while.

https://www.onesixthoutfitters.com/products/1-6-scale-book-of-cagliostro?_pos=4&_sid=7d7f34ca9&_ss=r&variant=31316940521610

The one that came with the 1st Dr Strange figure goes for stupid money now, so I was excited to see a 3rd party making one. But I'm an idiot, and hesitated to grab it, and now it's sold out. The weird part is, I haven't seen it listed ANYWHERE else. Has anyone run into it in their travels??

I did run into that one too. And it's is nice, but that Yuri's Tower one with the metal sculptural cover and operating latch may be even nicer than the Hot Toys one. I can't believe I've just never seen it up anywhere else.

Yeah, the one you linked to was fantastic, and I’m guessing it was a custom offering only available through them.

Yes, indeed. I now have a few of their books in my watch list. I’m thinking of contacting her thru her Etsy shop and see if she’ll make one of those open magic books she has in 1/12 in 1/6.

Yeah, I'm afraid you might be right.  Which for the price is pretty awesome.  Kicking myself for not being on it.

And yeah, sorry to blow over it, for all OTHER offerings, her stuff is so rad.  Been on my radar for a while now too, and been meaning to order a few things from her. I guess I just have tunnel vision on this one right now. Razz

Hello everyone!
I am actually looking for the CGL dark Phoenix figure mentioned at the beginning of this thread 🤣
OR
at the very least, just the outfit/some suggestions to something similar.
I just want to put my Jean figure in this outfit, but would also like to own this figure if possible.

That’s a cool outfit, matt.s99. Wish I could assist but I’m not very well-versed in X-Men figures and have not seen that one before. Hopefully someone else will have a better idea.

I’m also looking for something — a pair of Hot Toys RotJ Luke Skywalker boots. Could be from either the 40th anniversary or Deluxe sets. The only UK source for loose HT parts sold out of those ages ago and my searches elsewhere have been coming up empty. These are the main item I’m missing for a kitbash/reconstituted figure, and it would be a shame to never be able to put the rest of the pieces to use. If anyone sees a pair parted out, please let me know!

Looking at my own reconstituted ROTJ Luke, I think these are the standard "imperial" boots that came with a number of sets (including Tarkin, for example) -- if there are any variations, they are too minuscule for me to notice; they are also very close to Krennic's, which are being parted out these days (the main difference is that Krennic's have a little extra detail -- a little sewn strap -- at the very top, but you have to look to notice it). So perhaps you could substitute one of those. Or, failing that, you can go straight for the prototype -- German jack boots. For example:
https://www.monkeydepot.com/Boots_DiD_German_WWII_Jackboots_p/dl2561.htm (these particular ones work with feet, so you might have to get those too).

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the alternative suggestions! As long as they look the part and are compatible with HT body, I suppose it would be better than nothing. Smile

You are very welcome. The HT alternatives should work automatically (should being the operative word). The DID boots probably will -- the HT foot seems to be copied by/compatible with many of the generic sixth-scale male feet out there, as long as you stay away from TBLeague male feet (which are bigger) you should be fine. Someone said somewhere that DID actually reproduced these boots (the original German version anyway) better than anyone else. I notice they do have a little tongue sticking out at the heel, but that can surely be sliced off. You can find info on the Krennic boot in today's review, which is coming up shortly.

Do the DID boots have pegs inside like the HT? I know I've bought some DID items before but can't recall what their boots are like.

And yeah, I figured some 'generic' boots might work, but couldn't figure out what to search for -- to me, they are just 'equestrian boots', lol. So appreciate the info.

Looking forward to the review! Smile

These particular DID boots work with actual feet -- it said so specifically in the Monkey Depot link I used as an example. I'm sure the HT feet and the DID feet are compatible size-wise -- the bendable toe type ought to work. And you don't need to use DID -- or HT feet -- just HT-compatible feet like those used by Easy & Simple or Soldier Story or DAM. Just stay away from TBLeague feet, because they will probably be too big for this type of footwear.
Example of DID feet: https://www.monkeydepot.com/Tool_DiD_Feet_w_Ankle_Pegs_p/dl1738.htm
Example of Soldier Story feet (I imagine compatible with HT) : https://www.monkeydepot.com/Feet_Soldier_Story_S2_5_Feet_w_Ankle_Pegs_p/ssl1659.htm

Thanks, I took a lot of photos... will have to relegate some extras to appendices... Smile

Does anyone know of any Black/POC female headsculpts? So far all I’ve been able to find is a Halle Berry one and the Gamora sculpt from GOTG. :/
Ideally I’d prefer no hair as I’m intending to do some customising but I’m not fussy! XD

The Hot Toys Shuri headsculpt is gorgeous imo...but, of course, it's Hot Toys, and also extremely rare to find parted-out. :/

That Shuri head has that metal neck piece, though?

I wish I could be of more help, but you got exactly the two heads that remotely come close to what you are looking for that I know of.
It's a shame, really. Someone on this forum did some 3d work though and even printed heads out, maybe someone remembers?

skywalkersaga

skywalkersaga
Hmm, yeah, I forgot that pesky detail....  Embarassed

ETA: I believe that is gooboo you are thinking of, Ovy ...

Lynkhart

Lynkhart
Yeah, Shuri would have been ideal but urgh, money and urgh, sculpted on bits. D:

It’s actually ridiculous how few POC sculpts there are in 1/6th scale, same with the skin tones in general.

Yes, the lack of that has been a frequent topic of discussion and source of frustration for many here on this forum. :/

Really wish some 1/6 company would get the hint and take up the slack ...

The chin piece on Shuri can be removed with effort, but you need to be good with a Dremel to smooth the remaining surface into shape, then repaint it. I am not quite finished with my modification of it, but trying to get there.

There are plenty of male POC heads out there, but only two female (one not so good, one requires serious modification skills and costs a small fortune). It’s absolutely tragic how limited this hobby still is.

DR Who 12 inch figure line had a good one, forget the characters name as never watched the show but was based on actress Freema Agyeman

Yeah, I’ve got her already! I’ve been watching a few on eBay in case I can get one cheap. The body’s pretty good too but obviously if I take the head off one then I’m left in a quandary! XD

Now, I need boots! Anyone know where I can her lace up brown boots? Will need to be hollow for feet and my phicen body has attached feet.

Doesn’t need to be exact to these, but close enough
